Dobby was born July 23rd 2020. He loves to run outside and acts more like a cat when he curls up. He likes to snuggle and hide under blankets. He will need surgery for a gland issue for penis that I cannot afford with 6 children. He does like to bark but that's to let you know he's hungry, thirsty, needs to go outside or is barking outside to let you know someone is there. He's definitely a spunky dog. He is good with children but will need time to warm up. He likes other dogs he's just scared of big dogs.

Roxy is a funny little dog who is a lot of fun to have around. She is low maintenance, she loves going for long walks, and is always up for them (rain or shine). She loves walking around a fenced yard and really entertains herself just by exploring. She is super athletic she jumps on top of a 4 foot gate & walks on the top of it (on a skinny little metal pole) , so a fenced yard has to be pretty tall for her. It looks like she is a gymnast on a very skinny balance beam! She might be a great agility dog but unlike many dogs like that, she is not demanding. We joke because of her tough looks that she the is really a guardian angel disguised as small four-legged bouncer. This little pretty chocolate dappled girl is called Maizie and goodness what a cracker jack she is. Don’t for minute let those green eyes and chocolate marbled coat fool you to think she is gentle or easy. She is the CEO of dogs and will run the show at your house if given the chance. Maizie is 30 pounds and 9 months old. She is a breed mix of Dachshund and Basset Hound we are told. Her pics make her look big but she is a “tiny but mighty” little girl. Mazie is not a fan of any other female dogs in her life or around her. We don’t know where that came from but the dislike is there so we say…don’t ignore the warning. She is great with big male dogs, not good with other small dogs or cats, but loves people deeply and wants to be around them. She needs a fenced yard because she is a runner as most Dachshunds can be and she needs to be able to run and play and get her energy out daily. Older children would be better for her and she is crate trained, 90% housebroken and she adores going for walks; a very good girl on a leash we can say. She is beautiful but a “tad” bit complicated, which is why we have outlined the Likes and Dislikes of this girl to a TEE!
