Story
Oswald is a 2-year-old bundle of energy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This adorable little guy is as cute as he is funny, and he’s always ready to run, play, and bring smiles to everyone he meets. Oswald has a playful spirit and would be the perfect family dog for an active household. Whether it's running around the yard, playing fetch, or just having a good time with his humans, Oswald is always up for some fun! Oswald’s energy is unmatched, and he would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can burn off all that extra energy. He is also used to being the dominant one over his current kennel mate, so he may do best with a more submissive dog who can keep up with his playful antics. Though Oswald’s start in life wasn’t the best, he has come a long way. He came from a home where he wasn’t provided with the necessary veterinary care. He had cherry eye, retained baby teeth, and was neither vaccinated nor neutered. Thankfully, we’ve taken care of all his medical needs, and Oswald is now happy, healthy, and ready for his forever home. Oswald absolutely loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He is a social, affectionate boy who will quickly become a beloved member of any family. He’s full of love and excitement, and he’s waiting for the right family to give him the life he deserves. If you’re looking for an energetic, playful, and loving companion who will keep you on your toes, Oswald might be your perfect match!

Story
Scrappy was wandering around a woman’s house in North Carolina, and she picked him up to prevent him from getting hit by a car.  He was taken to a shelter but his family never came looking for him. This adorable little boy has the short legs of a Doxie which is part of what makes him so cute. His friendly personality is another plus mark. So far he gets along with the foster's dog, and their cats. We are working on house traing and is getting the hang of it.Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org December 19, 2024, 10:11 pm

Story
Roxy is a funny little dog who is a lot of fun to have around. She is low maintenance, she loves going for long walks, and is always up for them (rain or shine). She loves walking around a fenced yard and really entertains herself just by exploring. She is super athletic she jumps on top of a 4 foot gate & walks on the top of it (on a skinny little metal pole) , so a fenced yard has to be pretty tall for her. It looks like she is a gymnast on a very skinny balance beam! She might be a great agility dog but unlike many dogs like that, she is not demanding. We joke because of her tough looks that she the is really a guardian angel disguised as small four-legged bouncer. She does not chew on things she shouldn't and goes outside of her run so we believe she is likely housetrained. If you are interested in Roxy please let us know. Thank you for your interest in Roxy! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=17424 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Roxy, or to submit an online application. Story
LUCKY IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    Lucky is his name, and he has EARNED it. This parvo survivor is a 5-6 month old mixed breed puppy. His mom was a dachshund, and his dad is a complete guess. He is only 20 lbs, and we don't expect him to get much bigger. He loves other dogs and children, but Lucky is afraid of cats. He is working on house breaking with a few accidents here and there, but he is currently training being taken out often and especially after eating. He will pick it up soon! He loves balls and toys. His favorite thing to do is get up in your lap and cuddle when he is tired.   Lucky is fully vetted including neuter, microchip, puppy shots as well as rabies shot. His adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Lucky up north after he is adopted.  To apply to adopt Lucky, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any Questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .  THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 1:30 pm

Story
The owner of Arlo, Lainey and 4 other akc registered doxies was living in a rental home with 4 children and the landlord said the dogs had to go. Her mom took them while she was supposed to find another place to live but that did not happen. Her mom had 3 dogs of her own and was overwhelmed so she asked for help. All the dogs are sweet but we took Arlo and Lainey. These two are quite bonded so we are going to try to place them together. They are both spay/neutered, UTD on vaccines and HW negative, They will also be microchipped. In their original home, they were left on a self feeder and I am afraid Arlo overindulged. He needs a home where they will go for walks and watch their diets. but he is so so sweet and cute! Loves cuddles and kisses! They both seem to be reliably housetrained. Arlo is a red pie bald and Lainey is a black and tan wirehaired doxie. Arlo was born on 8/13/2020 so he is 4 years old, Lainey is 3. If you would like to add these fun little babies to your family, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send our info and app. If you do not see a reply, please check your spam.
