Nugget is a 1 year-old dachshund/chihuahua mix weighing 18 lbs. She may be just a plain little brown dog, but she has a personality that will win you over. You can see from some of her pictures that she loves running in a fenced in yard but then she also can come in the house and be the best cuddler. Nugget is a little unsure of new things and new people, especially men, but she will warm up. She will need someone who can be patient with her and introduce her to new things and people slowly. When she gets really excited, she likes to give you a big smile and show all her teeth. Don't think she's growling at you, she's just showing you those pearly whites. She is a total snuggle bug who adores being close to her people. Though she is deaf, and mostly blind, she gets around beautifully and doesn't let it slow her down. Chicken is curious, spunky, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, children, and everyone she meets. Fiona and Chicken have spent their entire lives side by side, and their bond is unbreakable. They are seeking a loving home where they can stay together, ideally with a fenced-in yard and experienced dog owners who will give them the care and stability they deserve.
