Story
Piper Pipes was born outside and did not see the inside of a house. The litter was free, as it was noted to be an accident. I picked her up, and three baths later, she was free of fleas and ticks. Piper is 6 years old and will be 7 in May. She loves other dogs, but please be mindful that she is a dog that will get hyper and will be in other dogs faces. She still has not learned that other dogs do not like that very much. She loves to be close to her humans. She is crate-trained and house-trained. She does have a tendency to whine if she is in the crate and cannot be close to you, but she will lie down and settle after a few minutes. Piper will become your second doorbell once she hears it and or sees someone new enter the house. She comes with her crate and all of her remaining food. She is UTD and spayed. Piper also has a stuffed turtle that she loves that will come with her. She does not like toys with stuck-out eyes. That stuffed animal will be destroyed in 24 hours.

Story
This little pretty chocolate dappled girl is called Maizie and goodness what a cracker jack she is.  Don’t for minute let those green eyes and chocolate marbled coat fool you to think she is gentle or easy.  She is the CEO of dogs and will run the show at your house if given the chance.  Maizie is 30 pounds and 9 months old.  She is a breed mix of Dachshund and Basset Hound we are told.  Her pics make her look big but she is a “tiny but mighty” little girl.  Mazie is not a fan of any other female dogs in her life or around her.  We don’t know where that came from but the dislike is there so we say…don’t ignore the warning.  She is great with big male dogs, not good with other small dogs or cats, but loves people deeply and wants to be around them.  She needs a fenced yard because she is a runner as most Dachshunds can be and she needs to be able to run and play and get her energy out daily.  Older children would be better for her and she is crate trained, 90% housebroken and she adores going for walks; a very good girl on a leash we can say.  She is beautiful but a “tad” bit complicated, which is why we have outlined the Likes and Dislikes of this girl to a TEE!  We want the right and perfect home and there are lots out there that can give her that.  Tiny but Mighty little Maizie is ready for a home NOW!  Please email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue : ccrnewengland@gmail.com  Tell us where you live when you email asking for information and an application. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.January 22, 2025, 9:20 pm

Story
Bailey is one of our 3 babies, we love him so dearly. He is Almost 7. Feb 14 2017 is his birthday. Bailey needs a home with no children and no other male dogs. Fixed females of his size only are ok. And he loves cats for some reason. Bailey is not fixed. When he was a puppy he broke his femur and has pins in his leg. They do not seem to ever bother him. But he is fragile and needs to be taken care of. He is a loving dog that will lay on your lap and sleep with you but he doesn’t like being touched or held. And he will let you know. He’s very vocal. He needs someone with good patience. He knows how to sit, fetch and shake, and knows words like crate and food. He is a good listener. We are expecting this summer and Bailey does not do good with children. He will always have a home with us until we find a good fit for him.
