Story
Buddy Munchkin...there is just so much to say about this happy sweet boy. First of all, is he not just the cutest guy you've ever seen?! I mean how can you not instantly fall in love with those cute little legs of his and his adorable face. It's a little hard to resist not going to lie but just wait until you watch his video and learn more about his personality. It'll be game over and you'll find yourself counting down the days until he is in your home spoiling him with all the love and toys! Watch his video and fall in love with this adorable little guy: https://youtu.be/5ClT3UzMqy4?si=cf3o8AxuNJauVG_R Buddy is believed to be a Dachshund mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 31lbs and is full grown! Y'all don't let his pictures fool you, he's a little guy with the cutest little legs. You can probably tell the height distance between his legs and the ground. Instantly a sight that makes me smile. Buddy is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Buddy is very dog friendly and is currently fostered with 4 other large breed dogs all with varying personalities and he gets along great with all of them. He loves to play chase and run around the yard with his foster siblings. Watching him play is a show in its self, especially when he is trying to run as fast as the big dogs LOL. Poor guy's legs aren't long enough to keep up but he certainly tries and his legs go into hyper-drive/turbo mode. Which is Buddy's rendition of a " sprint" that looks more or less like a faster paced trot. If you don't have other dogs, that's fine too! Buddy does not need the company of another dog to help him feel comfortable and open up. He loves attention and would love to be the center of yours. When it comes to training, Buddy is very treat motivated, is eager to please, already knows how to sit and walks well on a leash! His foster mom reports he is fully potty trained and that he is learning all about the crate and how the crate is a good thing. Buddy rides great in the car too! He will just lay down in the backseat, and occasionally look out the window watching all the passerby's. He does need a reminder every now and then that he can't ride shotgun and that his seat is in the back. He just gets excited and happy about going on an adventure like we all do. Buddy's ideal home would have a backyard where he can prance around, explore all the smells, soak up the sun during those nice summer days, and porch sit with his favorite people. Buddy is such a lover boy at heart and loves affection! One of his favorite things that his foster mom does for him, is when she tucks him in for bed, wrapping him up like a little burrito. He loves to burry his face into all the blankets, wrapping himself up even more before rolling over and asking for belly rubs, which are also a favorite of his. His foster mom jokes about how he believes he is a lap dog and will crawl into their laps any chance he can get. She says his love and affection knows no bounds and in the best way. He loves to be around people and turns into your little "shadow." He would do great with someone who works from home or retired, and with a family that likes to have their dog with them all the time. He's he best at keeping you company so if you're looking for a companion Buddy is definitely the fur baby for you. We are willing to test Buddy Munchkin with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Rupert is an incredibly sweet and happy dog! He is full of energy and loves to play. We unfortunately can not keep him due to time constraints and relocating. Rupert would benefit from an experienced owner who is willing to spend time with him. He is very affectionate. We're not sure how he interacts with other dogs or kids, but he is very sweet so we are hopeful. He would benefit from someone who can take him outside frequently for walks and to play.

Story
Meet Toby Toblerone Weinerwobble! This gorgeous boy is about 2 years old, only 12 pounds, and we think he may be a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix, but with rescue, it's always a guess! Watch Toby's video here: Yes, it's a silly name, but this Toby is one distinguished gentleman. He may be low to the ground, but this sweet boy rates sky high on the lovability scale! We adore his expressive eyes - we think it's the eyebrows that he uses to full effect - and this boy can get extra treats from us by tilting his head just so. (Who can resist an inquisitive head tilt? Not us!) And we simply cannot get over his lowrider status - his short legs are adorable. Sweet Toby can be shy at first in new places with new people, but don't let that fool you. He is quite the social butterfly and likes to meet new people, ever curious about what is going on....just...over...there. Toby will investigate his surroundings and choose the best place to sit (your lap), or if he must, a soft and fluffy dog bed. Toby loves to be outdoors and does well on a leash, but we can tell he would just love a nice backyard to run free. (Bonus: his legs are short, so the yard doesn't have to be that big, lol.) We love Toby’s happy and joyful attitude and know you will too! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67b6064903f12854b607826d Questions? Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time. https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https:// www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
