Story
Squid is a very sweet, friendly, and loving dog-- she LOVES being a lap dog, and is a cuddler. She's a senior dog and has lower energy levels, but still enjoys fetch. She was my mom's dog, but my mom had a bad stroke which left her using a wheelchair and a walker. She and Squid now live with me, but I am allergic to dogs, and we are in a small cramped apartment. I work full-time while going to college, so my hands are incredibly full, and my mom is no longer physically able to tend to Squid like she used to, or or take her on walks when I'm at work/classes. This has been a huge struggle for us all. She is iffy around other dogs-- she can warm up to them over time, but patience is needed to let her get comfy and warm up. Not great around small animals/kittens. My mom is not sure about her health, but she says she has some dental issues. As much as it breaks my heart, we want Squid to be able to go to a home better suited for dogs, especially one with a yard. Thank you so much!

Story
NEW ENGLAND ADOPER/FOSTER-TO-ADOPT/FOSTER NEEDED Rambo is a 7 - 1/2 yr old male Daschund/Chihuahua.  He weighs 14 lbs.  Rambo is looking for a new home with a single or couple adult or older couple.  He enjoys going for walks or hikes and quiet indoor time.  Rambo is house and crate trained.   If you are interested in adopting any of our dogs, please complete our online adoption application:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/31747/generic For more info, please email skylyrspassion@att.net OR visit our website: http://www.lifesaverssp.org/ We will conduct a phone interview, check references and then a home check. This helps us to match a dog with their potential adopter. The adoption fee is $450.00 for adults and $550.00 for puppies under one year which includes spay/neutering, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick & heartworm preventative, and a health certificate. We foster our dogs in homes, not in shelters. This allows us to get to know the dogs’ temperaments to match them to a home. This also allows us to get the dogs ready to live in their forever homes! All dogs coming from the south have been quarantined for two weeks and fully vetted before traveling to New England! ##2367482##
