Email:  ddrtxinfo@gmail.com                 Primary Website:  www.DDRTX.org Bonded with Holly Bea - Bonded pairDouble Dapple Chip may be blind and mostly deaf, but with his absolutely precious “seeing eye” sister, Holly (also a double dapple) there to help him, he’s close to perfect!  these two are friendly, gentle, loving, kissy, and soak up the attention.  One would have a hard time realizing he’s vision impaired as he easily discovered his “space” and can go in and out the dog door just perfectly fine.  If you have a smaller yard, and a dog door, he’ll easily learn how to maneuver and Holly will help him (and you!) immensely. they are as loving as they are gorgeous!  Please consider offering these two a place in your home for the rest of their days so that they can live life with comfort, security, and lots of snuggles.  Chip is 13 years old. Chip and Holly are a bonded pair, thus they need to be adopted together!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Holly is a dream boat of perfection!  Her personality, friendliness and outgoing persona is a joy and a delight.   She and her brother, Chip are very bonded.  Little Miss Holly takes such good care of Chip and watches over him, like she's his "seeing eye companion". Email:  ddrtxinfo@gmail.com                 Primary Website:  www.DDRTX.org     PLEASE NOTE:  Bella gained 8 pounds since she was adopted and came back to DDRTX.  The first 5 pictures are what she looked like in October 2023. So far she has lost some weight and has much more energy!   Bella is a 11-year-old Chiweenie with a sweet disposition and a huge heart. She has no problem with strangers, large or small breed dogs and even maintenance workers that are doing work, etc. Bella really is no problem as long as she in in her diaper (and suspenders to keep it on) indefinitely. She has been checked medically for diabetes, Cushing’s, kidney and bladder issues, and had extensive bloodwork… Medically, there is nothing wrong with her, but we can only assume that neurologically she does not understand how to hold her bowel movements because the first 5+ years of her life she lived in an apartment and never went out to potty. The diapers do not bother her and they do not impair her ability to get around easily.  If you are interested in an older, sweet girl…and don’t mind a few daily diaper changes… please consider adopting Miss Bella Hope!                 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Email:  ddrtxinfo@gmail.com                 Primary Website:  www.DDRTX.org "Meet Harrison, or as his foster mom lovingly calls him, Pappy Harry. He’s a sweet 10 year old standard sized senior dog looking for a loving home to spend his golden years. Despite some health challenges, Harrison is getting all the care he needs and continues to thrive. While his eyesight and hearing aren’t what they used to be, his sense of smell is still as sharp as ever! Pappy Harry gets along well with both dogs and kids, though due to his limited vision and hearing, he might feel a bit lost in new environments at first. He’s potty trained, but sometimes accidents happen. He’s a low-energy, laid-back companion who loves nothing more than relaxing and enjoying a cozy spot to nap. He enjoys short walks and exploring the yard at his own pace. Harrison is on heart meds now and will continue through his lifetime.  He is feeling better now with all the love and vet care he has been receiving. He’s the perfect fit for a calm and patient home that will give him the love and comfort he deserves. All he needs now is a warm place to call his forever home, where he can enjoy his remaining years in peace. Could that be with you?”Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Email:  ddrtxinfo@gmail.com                 Primary Website:  www.DDRTX.org Lola Noel is incredibly sweet and cuddly. She will be 2 in February and only weighs 10 pounds. Lola is rather fearful of new people, but in less than 24 hours warmed up to her foster entirely and now wants to spend every second as close to her as possible! Lola loves food and chewing on bones, but her favorite activity is laying in your lap, under a blanket &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Lola knows how to use the dog door, is crate trained, and usually goes potty outside (training is a process! Plus cold, rainy weather is unpleasant). She doesn’t mind car rides, walks well on leash, and looks darn cute in a sweater!  Lola gets along well with other small dogs (hasn’t met big dogs yet), but also gets protective over her person and spaces, so she may do better as an only dog or with a family willing to train and work on boundaries. Lola Noel wants a family for Christmas who will be patient when getting to know her, then give her all their love when the time is right!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
