Melon is FULL of fun! He usually starts off with a zoomie or two. He can be so silly when his playful side is out, but he’ll also stay calmly by your side for as long as you’ll pet him. He loves to be loved on so much and wants to make all the friends. He has a medium energy level – just a little exercise and he’s ready to relax! He loves being around people, but he’s also happy to keep his own company. He also gets along well with other dogs, and feels most playful when outside with them. Melon is pretty good on a leash and he takes his treats gently from your hand. He knows the command `wait,` at the door, and he comes when called. He`s also been working on giving his paw on command, and is already potty trained. He’s very eager to please, so he`s sure to pick up tricks quickly! We thought we’d found Melon’s forever home once before. He was fostered to adopted in October of 2024, and his adoption was finalized in December of that year. Unfortunately, on 1/23/25 Melon was found as a stray once again. He was underweight and had puncture wounds on his body. His adopter never came in to reclaim him, so Melon is once again looking to find love and a home to call his own!

Maggie Mae is a sweet little girl who likes to cuddle. She's potty trained and crate trained. She knows "sit". She's shy around new people but tends to warm up quickly. She does well with other dogs with slow proper introductions. She's been living with several other dogs of all sizes. A low key home with older or no children would suit her best. Maggie has spent many months in foster care after she was found abandoned under a church in Cypress. She had to be humanly trapped and learn to trust humans again. She's come so far in her foster home and want to find her the perfect forever home. Maggie is around 3 years old, 31lbs, up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention.
