Travis is a 1.5 year old, 13 lb Dachshund mix. He has such handsome markings and soulful eyes. He and nine other small dogs were dumped in East Texas, and Humane Tomorrow took them all into our adoption program. Foster mom says that he is very calm, loves cuddles, and enjoys snuggling under a blanket. He is even starting to show his playful side. Travis will be timid at first, so he needs adopters who will be patient with him and give him time and space to build trust, a calm environment where he feels safe and secure. With love and consistency, he will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. If you would like to give Travis a forever home that really does last forever, please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you. Travis has heartworms because he was not kept on heartworm prevention. Humane Tomorrow will pay for his treatment with our partner vet, and the treatments are very successful.

Story
Abigail is one of the pups from our Swifties group. She is a 1.5 year old, 10 lb Dachshund Chihuahua mix. She and nine other small dogs were dumped on a country road in East Texas, and Humane Tomorrow took them all into our adoption program. Foster mom says that Abigail has a big heart and even bigger cuddle habit. Abigail was scared of the world when she first arrived, but with a little love and patience from her foster family, she has blossomed into a sweet, spunky, little companion. Mealtime is her favorite part of the day, and she does the cutest little happy dance in circles while her food is being prepared. Abigail is great on leash and enjoys walks around the neighborhood. She likes playing with the other dog, and she has learned how much fun toys are! She loves to sit in a little dog bed by foster mom's desk while she is working. Abigail needs a calm loving home where she can continue to feel safe and adored. In return, she will be a loyal cuddle buddy.
