Temo is a lovable 12-year-old miniature dachshund with a heart full of affection. As a senior dog, Temo's days are mostly spent lounging in cozy spots, especially when he can find a sunny patch to relax in. He's a calm and content companion who enjoys short walks and does well when out in public. His friendly demeanor generally allows him to get along with other dogs, though he prefers to be the only pet in the household, especially if other dogs tend to be territorial. Temo does well with older children comfortable with handling dogs. Temo is very smart and highly motivated by food, which makes him a quick learner. He is potty trained, though he may have an occasional accident if left alone for more than 6 hours. Temo will not do well in a kennel and does best when allowed to roam indoors. He will do best with an owner who is familiar with dogs and has the time to take him on regular walks.

Hi y'all!! My name is Kallen. The meaning is "Battle mighty"!! Ha! I'm not so sure about that, but I'm full of energy for sure!! I was picked up by the local popo. They kept for the required amount of time for owners to claim me but guess what?? They never did....sad face. The next step would have been to send me over the rainbow bridge, but they have some dog loving popos so Lucies was called. Whew!! Now here I am all vetted and ready to find a good family to live with. I sure do hope it's you!! *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home.
