Story
Meet Carmen! Carmen is the happiest, bounciest little 7 year old doxy mix dude! When he was surrendered to the shelter, he had hurt his back so badly that his back legs didn’t work at all. With some R&R, lots of TLC, and many many cuddles, his legs are functional again and don’t slow him down one bit, though he’s still a little unbalanced. He loves car rides and sunbathing in the backyard. He is so vocal when he gets excited and does that very cute dachshund “woo-woo!” howl to let you know just how excited he is. He is so interested in my cat, but his short legs don’t really give him the opportunity to mess with him like he’d like to. His favorite place to be is cuddled up next to you under a blanket or in the kennel with dachshund foster sisters (also under blankets cuddling.) Carmen is loyal and fun and would be such a sweet addition to any household. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
I'm fostering sweet Tara from a friend of mine that couldn't take care of her anymore. Trying to find Tara a good loving home! She's 7 years old with all shots up to date and spayed. Looking for a warm loving family for her to get all the attention she loves. Tara is a quiet and smart dog. She can be timid and quiet at first but warms up quickly. Her favorite treat is sliced hotdogs!

Buster is the sweetest little guy!! He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He weighs approximately 24 pounds and 10 years old. Buster is great with other dogs, loves to nap and enjoys lounging in a human lap. Buster would be perfect for a retired couple, or someone who is home most of the time, as he really does love companionship, or even another dog in the home whom he can snuggle with! If interested in adopting Buster, please fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.
