Story
Are you ready to pour up a pint of friendship? Well, you've come to the right place—Meet Porter, a Dachshund and Chihuahua mix! This guy may be small, but his heart holds the love of ten dogs. When Porter came into the SNIPSA program, he was a little on the shy side. However, after just a few weeks in foster care, he can't help but wag his tail and ask for belly rubs from everyone he meets. This pup also has fast little legs despite being so close to the ground, and he will show off his zoomies at every opportunity! Porter has certainly come a long way with his confidence since he was initially rescued in Hondo, Texas. He spends his days enjoying all the perks of domestic life and seeking out new friends to play with. All he needs is a forever human with whom he can share all of his newfound joys. Porter is perfectly potty-trained, crate-trained, and simply a pleasure to be around. Without question, he will make a great addition to your pack or an easy starter dog. So, sit back and sip on perfection! Apply today!

Story
Chiweenie looking for loving home. This is Pumpkin, he’s a 2 year old and is a cuddle bug. He loves to lay on the couch, watch tv, and play with his toys. He also enjoys running around in the yard with his father named Mr.Weenie, a 3 year old dachshund. He gets along great with him but barks at other dogs. For the most part he is potty trained but he does have accidents while I’m at work. He will sit, come when called, and is crate trained. Unfortunately I have to find him and his father a new home as I don’t have the money to give them the life they need. If you’re looking for a dog that will love you, cuddle with you, and eat all your treats, Pumpkin is what your looking for.

Chip and Holly are a bonded pair, thus they need to be adopted together!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Email:  ddrtxinfo@gmail.com                 Primary Website:  www.DDRTX.org Meet Bella Hope! This 11-year-old chiweenie is a pint-sized bundle of joy with the biggest ears and eyes that melt your heart! We think when she gives us the “stare” she’s just trying to hypnotize us to give her extra treats! She has the softest, quirkiest quack of a bark! She loves to burrow under ALL the blankets and occasionally serenades us with the cutest little snores during her beauty sleep. Bella does wear a diaper held up by suspenders because, let’s face it, her little bohiney is just too petite! After several vet visits and extensive bloodwork for diabetes, Cushing’s, and even kidney and bladder issues , there is nothing medically wrong with her. We suspect her potty-training issues are more neurological due to the fact her first 5+ years of her life she lived in an apartment and never went out to potty. But fear not, the diapers are easy to change, come in a lot of fun colors, and don’t bother her one bit! She zips around like a champ! Please consider giving this precious little girl a home. She is very loving, cuddly, easy-going, and overall simply a joy to be around!                   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Email:  ddrtxinfo@gmail.com                 Primary Website:  www.DDRTX.org Lola Noel is incredibly sweet and cuddly. She will be 2 in February and only weighs 10 pounds. Lola is rather fearful of new people, but in less than 24 hours warmed up to her foster entirely and now wants to spend every second as close to her as possible! Lola loves food and chewing on bones, but her favorite activity is laying in your lap, under a blanket &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Lola knows how to use the dog door, is crate trained, and usually goes potty outside (training is a process! Plus cold, rainy weather is unpleasant). She doesn’t mind car rides, walks well on leash, and looks darn cute in a sweater!  Lola gets along well with other small dogs (hasn’t met big dogs yet), but also gets protective over her person and spaces, so she may do better as an only dog or with a family willing to train and work on boundaries. Lola Noel wants a family for Christmas who will be patient when getting to know her, then give her all their love when the time is right!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
