We are Flynn and Rider! Like thieves in the night we'll steal your heart. Flynn and Rider are absolutely gorgeous and active puppies looking for forever homes to call their own. Flynn is more reserved than Rider but he still loves to go play. He'll come sit by your feet and take in the world around him or he'll try to scamper up on your lap to show you rocks he's found. He loves being up high to get scratchies and watch his brother. Rider is the adventurer, he enjoys sniffing through the grass and pouncing grasshoppers. He likes to get the big dog toys to drag around the yard and have his brother chase him. Rider sits patiently waiting for his turn to get scratchies on your lap. He's so adorable! He's fearless until big trucks rumble by then you'll find him behind your chair! Don't get Tangled in our cute-pie puppy eyes! These pups have healthy appetites but will stop when full, graze later after activities. Their mom has short legs, longer body, pointy ears, narrow face, and a beautiful redish brindle coat. Might be corgi/dachshund mixes or be energetic little terrier dogs. They have cute little legs and look like they waddle from behind! Both like to play, run, and carry things around. They are really good at hustling from their room to door to go outside with "lets go, let's go, hurry, hurry, all the way to the door." Then once out the door "all the way to the gate... no pee pee in the walk way." Then "hurry hurry all the way back to go potty." They bound around in a scurry watching me for praise at their good efforts! Eager to learn, observant, smart. Will walk on leashes together but criss cross a bit so will need individual leash training. They are a little timid with new things in general so slow introductions would be helpful as they learn. They are young and going through a chewing stage so age appropriate chew toys a plus. Have experience with dogs their size. Very timid with big dogs. No experience with cats or children so please introduce them slowly. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Shelley is a sweet, cuddly pup who is house/crate trained and about 25 lbs.  She loves her chew toys! She can be a bit mouthy when playing with her person but she is good with a 'stop' command. She is also especially fond of belly rubs and will 'sit' for treats and her meals. Shelley came to Proverbs Heartworm positive. She has finished up her treatment and is doing wonderfully   Medical Notes: Completed heartworm treatment and now heartworm free. Received a Proheart 12 injection. He’s 13 but don’t let his age fool you, he is always ready for an adventure, no matter what the weather is. But he is also perfectly content curling up on the couch next to his human. He gets along with humans (even babies) and other dogs, has not been tested around cats but would likely do fine, he prefers pups of his size to play with. He is house-trained and also crate-trained and can be trusted left out roaming around when no one is home. He has leash reactivity especially when he sees other dogs on walks. On a very rare occasion he will bark to alert you someone is at the door, but most of the times he will let his foster brothers do the work. He is a gentle and loving soul and would make him a perfect fit for almost any family. We are assuming they were dumped but we don't know that for sure. This boy is the sweetest. He is great with dogs and cats. He loves to be snuggled and loved on. We are working on potty training. He doesn't get kenneled much but he seems fine the few times I have. We are assuming they were dumped but we don't know that for sure. This girl wants nothing but to be in your lap. She is all dachshund and is sweet as can be. She is great with all sized dogs, cats and I am sure she would be fine with kids. She does tend to jump but she is only 10lbs so I don't imagine she would do much harm. This little pretty chocolate dappled girl is called Maizie and goodness what a cracker jack she is.  Don’t for a minute let those green eyes and chocolate marbled coat fool you to think she is a push over.  She is the CEO of dogs and will run the show at your house if given the chance.  Maizie is 40 pounds and 15 months old.  She is a breed mix of Dachshund and Basset Hound we are told. Her beauty is so unique and her confidence in who she is and what she loves to do is evident in her posture and poise.  She is a mighty little girl. Mazie does best with dogs her size or larger.  Small dogs bother is her and she is not a fan of cats (which are smaller too) She is great with big male dogs. and loves people deeply and wants to be around them.  She needs a fenced yard because she is a runner as most Dachshunds can be and she needs to be able to run and play and get her energy out daily.  Older children would be better for her and she is crate trained, housebroken and she adores going for walks; a very good girl on a leash we can say.  She is beautiful but a “tad” bit complicated, which is why we have outlined the Likes and Dislikes of this girl to a TEE!  We want the right and perfect home and there are lots out there that can give her that.  Tiny but Mighty little Maizie is ready for a home NOW!  Please email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue : ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Tell us where you live when you email asking for information and an application.
