Story
Mary Jane is a 6 year old rescue that I adopted 5 years ago. She is very goofy and sweet girl. Her favorite things to do are cuddle and eat treats. She would be the happiest in a home where she can be the baby of the house. She is a rescue so we aren’t sure of her background but Mary Jane seems to have had a traumatic history that left her rather skittish and nervous around children and other animals. We have decided to rehome because we have an 1 year old and Mary Jane does not get along well with small children. In the Spring Jane was diagnosed with IVDD and she cannot get around as well as before. She loves to sleep and cuddle but I think the diagnosis has made her more nervous around our daughter. Mary Jane is so sweet and loyal and she loves to play and sleep. The perfect home for her is out there and we are hopeful to find it!

Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Dachshund-Basset mix and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Thelma is the other half of the dynamic duo, Thelma & Louise! She is very much bonded to her sister Louise & relies on her for comfort & security . Where you find one, you will find the other! Thelma quickly bonds with her humans & insists on daily cuddles & pets. Like her sister Louise, Thelma is approximately 12 years old, around 19lbs & a sweet princess. She is working on getting her girlish figure back. She is a dachshund/terrier mix that gets along well with other dogs & is curious about cats. She walks on a leash with the occasional reminder to enjoy the scenery along the way & not rush to the finish line. If you are looking for a furry shadow, Thelma is your gal. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
