Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.Joey is a very handsome sweet boy, he is a very reserved until he gets to know and trust you. Once he gets to know you his tail just never stops wagging. He is working hard on his house manners. He does great with all the other foster dogs. He does not like children  He barks and barks when they come in a room, if he is outside and sees children he barks and runs and hides. His foster mom says he will be a snuggler once he gets a little more settled. Joey does require a fenced yard as he does not walk on a leash.  Joey is about 3  going on 4 years old and weighs about 18 pounds. His adoption fee is $400 plus tax of $18 for a total of $418.  My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter and dental.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:04 am

Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  Howdy! My name is Churro! I am a fun loving puppy....once I get to know you. I am very afraid of new people and surrounding. My foster mom could not touch me the first three days at her home :( On the third day she finally won me over with string cheese and we have been best buds ever since. I did try to go to Woofstock but I freaked out so my foster dad took me back home where it wasn't so wild and crazy.... WHEW! That was far too many people for me. The other thing that freaks me out is scrubs, I am terrified everytime I see my foster mom in scrubs. She has to change before she comes to see me when she get home from work. SCRUBS are scarry! I am now 7 months old, I am fully vetted, my best buddy is Billy the cocker spaniel that had heart surgery, I love to run, chase and play with him in my foster mom's fenced back yard. We have soooo much fun together. I love having other dogs my size to play with. Because I am so active and so fearful of new people a fenced yard is a must to keep me safe! Do you have the love and patience to be my furever home? I am a really cool young pup but I do have some major fears! I am 8 months old, my adoption fee is $600 plus sales tax $27=$627   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter/spay, dental if needed and microchipping.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:04 am

Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  Bonnie is such a doll baby! She is a 12 yr old senior girl that still has a lot of pep in her step. She came to Dakota Dachshund Rescue with a bark collar :( She had lost one of her owners that she was close to, the other moved from their home into a senior housing apartment and Bonnie did not like it She barked whenever she was left alone. Bonnie was not spay and was in heat when she arrived, she badly needed a dental. We took care of all of that but Bonnie had a very difficult recovery, she ended up back to see Dr Paul several times.Meds got her back on course and Bonnie is loving life! She again has pep in her step, loves going outside when it is nice, does great walking on a leash and exploring and she adores snuggling on the couch and eating her Fresh Pet Roll 3 times a day.Can you be Bonnie's furever friend? She does great with all the other dogs in the house, she does not care for a kennel, she lives to sleep on the couch with a nice blanket and she wears her sweater most of the time.Bonnie is 12 yrs old, she weighs 10 pounds, her adoption fee is $250 plus sales tax $11.25 =$261.25   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter/spay, dental if needed and microchipping.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 9, 2024, 7:25 pm

I am working on house training, learning to chew on what puppies are supposed to chew on. Wearing a harness and walking on a leash..... that's all new ;) I am learning I now have a name, I still don't listen when my foster mom says 'Come, sit or stay' what's that all about ;) I do need a fenced yard to keep me safe since I don't come when called and I loooooove to run, chase and play with the other dogs in my foster mom's fenced yard. I am a very friendly boy, I love everyone and most dogs  Can you be my furever home?
