Story
Sabrina is a very high energy dog that loves to play, she is a bit food aggressive especially around other pets and maybe kids, I don’t have the time to be with her all time, she definitely needs a home with someone who has the patience to train her and a big yard for her to run around in

Story
Morty is a 5-year old Dachshund/Pomeranian mix. WE ONLY ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs. If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible. Please email lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.

Story
Coco is the cutest little 12 year young dachshund. She came to us along with Peanut and Mouse when her owners house was struck by lightning and had to be condemned. She is going to take some time to adjust to a new home as her whole world was just turned upside down so a patient home is a must for this little girl. She needs to be in a home with other dogs as that is all she is used to. She gets along great with dogs of all sizes as well as cats. She does startle easily so a home with young children wouldn't be recommended. Coco does have an inguinal hernia that doesn't cause her any pain but at the recommendation of our vet due to her age we elected not to put her under anesthesia to repair. She has likely lived with it for a long time. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, prevention and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $250. Story
Mouse is a cute little 12 year old dachshund. He is mostly content to just chill in his dog bed and doesn't really require much beyond his food and potty breaks. He came to us after his owners house was struck by lightning and had to be condemned. He gets along great with dogs of all sizes and cats. He startles easily so we wouldn't recommend him going to a home with young children. He is working on leash training so a house with a fenced in yard would be ideal unless someone is patient with him on leash training and understands it might take him some time. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, prevention and heartworm negative. He is scheduled for a dental cleaning on 8/29 and will be ready for his forever home after that. His adoption fee is $250. Please use this link for the application to be approved: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SGVJMGQYSeptember 17, 2024, 10:16 am
