Story
Gia has lived with us since she was about 18 weeks old and her birthday is in late July so she is just over a year old. She lives with another dog and a family with 2, 8 year old boys. We adopted her and her sister at the same time and while they are good dogs, we just weren’t ready for 2 dogs at one time. She is used to kids as there are ours plus neighborhood kids over regularly. She is house and crate trained. She is not great on a leash yet because we haven’t trained her but she is easy to train. We just haven’t taken enough time to do it. She barks when she is in our backyard when she hears other dogs or is playing with her sister. We just don’t have the time for 2 dogs and she could be an even better dog if someone could spend the time with her. We also have her sister, Otter. If you wanted to meet both and choose yourself that is possible too. They’ve had some training with a trainer and he said they are both great dogs.

Story
LOCAL ADOPTIONS ONLY. Please read his bio entirely. While he is very cute, Oscar is a project and going to need a special home.  This handsome man came to us after being used as a breeding dog. While he is super handsome, he is a little quirky so he’s looking for just the right fit and one that is patient. He’s 1-2 years old so he has his whole life to know what a good life is and boy does he deserve it. Oscar is very dog and cat friendly and would do best with another confident dog or two in the house. At this time we wouldn’t recommend children as they make him nervous and we don’t want anyone to get bitten.  He’s learning all about being an inside dog but the leash terrifies him. His foster mom is working on it patiently with him so a fenced in yard is required. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, prevention and heartworm negative. If you think you have the patience for this sweet boy, please fill out the application found here: https://libbyandmacesplace.org/get-involved/adopt-a-furry-forever-friend/ His adoption fee is $500. January 28, 2025, 12:36 pm
