Meet Liam! Adoption Fee: $599 Meet the Adorable Dachshund Puppies! Get ready to fall in love with five of the cutest little dachshund mix puppies you’ll ever meet! Liam, Leo, Larry, Linus & Levi. These six-week-old boys are sweet, playful, and full of personality. Their mom, a petite 18-pound dachshund mix, was rescued as a stray and brought into a safe, loving home, where she gave birth to these precious pups. They’re just beginning to explore the world and are looking for families who will give them plenty of love, patience, and care as they grow. Story
Dogs must stay together. They are sisters that love each other very much. Very attached to one another. Dogs are very cuddly. Love to take walks Dogs are 3 years old. They are crated during the day while we are at work. Dogs would need a home with some one who could spend more time with them. Perhaps a fenced in yard which we don’t have. Dogs are energetic but do love to sleep and cuddle with each other. My husband is recovering from stage 3 Cancer. These dogs are not getting the love and attention they need. We are overwhelmed.

Adoption Donation   $ 499    Located:  RI (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details) Age: approx    4-1/2  years old Weight: 25  lbs.    If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  Jewelss22131@gmail.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. ALL animals are in foster homes as we do NOT have a  shelter where you can visit. Some animals are in foster care in New England, and some are located in other states. If the initials following the animals name are a state, then that is the state where the animal is located. If initials are not a state, then those are the initials of the foster home outside of New England and you will not be able to meet the animal ahead of time. Complete our online application You will be contacted by phone or email by the foster parent  or a member of our adoption team and will have the opportunity to find out more about the animal, and ask any questions that you have to ensure the animal is a good fit for your household. If the animal is local, you can meet the animal, but you would not be able to take the dog home until you are approved to adopt.  From our end, we will check references and schedule a home visit.  If you live in an apartment, or a condo, we will need to verify permission to own the animal from your landlord or condo board. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail with your  adoption contract attached. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters. Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) reserves the right to deny any adoption application with or without disclosure of cause. Your adoption fee helps to cover the cost of all age appropriate vetting and transportation. FOHARI.ORG makes no explicit or implicit guarantees in reference to the health, temperament and/or the breed of the animal. The animal is adopted ‘as is’, and the adopter assumes all responsibility for treatment of any and all existing conditions or any other conditions of physical or temperament changes that may occur. FOHARI.ORG will provide the animal with the basic vaccines, heart worm test and sterilization of dogs and cats before adoption if the age and current health of the animal permits. While FOHARI.ORG makes every effort to place only healthy animals, FOHARI.ORG cannot guarantee the health of any animal, and shall not be held responsible for any medical expenses that may be incurred. Rescuer will provide information received from the veterinarian exam, observations on the temperament of the animal and a best guess of the breed. Friends of Homeless Animals Inc. Story
Can anyone resist this guy?? Meet Butter, a loving & sweet 4 year old piebald dachshund. Unfortunately, in his short life he has been passed around to numerous homes & we are not certain of his background. His last known home was someone who sold him on Craig's list. He is too sweet of a dog for this to have happened. He can be a bit nervous at times so a quiet home without any children is a must for him. He does have a little separation anxiety but we feel if placed in the right home with the right doggie companion that he will be fine. He loves people & other dogs. He has the most sweetest & good natured personality! He loves to cuddle! Butter wants to sit on your lap or by your side when you are watching tv, reading a book or working. Any & all times really! Sleeping in the BIG BED at night is a MUST! Butter NEEDS another pup in the home as he loves to play & cuddle. He also looks to another pup for reassurance. The current pup in the home must have a docile personality as Butter is very submissive & does not read other dog cues well. He thinks everyone wants to be his friend all the time! So a pup with an easy going & submissive personality will be a good match for him. He is very active so he needs a pup also who can match him in energy level & size. He has a pretty strong prey drive so a fenced in yard is a must!!! He is crate & house trained. He is leash trained & enjoys walking. We walk him around our neighborhood as well as take him to other places to explore. He MUST be kept on leash at all times! Regarding cats - He would do okay with a dog savvy cat but would be better with no cats in the home for everyone's peace! This little guy will just melt your heart. The second you see him all in the world is better! He is neutered, microchipped & UTD on vaccines. He has no known health issues. His adoption fee is $600. He is available for a meet & greet to approved adopters ONLY. Please apply for him at www.coaldr.org.

These pups are in Providence, Rhode Island too!

Story
Meet Otis, an adorable 3-year-old chihuahua mix who is ready to find his forever home! 🐾❤️ With his charming personality, Otis has a unique blend of sweetness and humor that makes him a delightful companion. He embodies a calm and sweet nature, which makes him the perfect cuddle buddy for anyone looking for a loving pet to share their life with. Though Otis may be a bit shy at first, his true character emerges once he feels comfortable in his surroundings. He quickly warms up to new people, revealing his funny and affectionate side. Snuggling is one of his favorite activities, and he will happily curl up next to you, offering warmth and companionship that will brighten your days. Otis thrives best in a quiet environment, making him an ideal match for someone who leads a more serene lifestyle. His gentle demeanor makes him great with children, as he approaches them with kindness and patience. He also enjoys the company of other dogs, particularly females, and would love to have a furry friend to share his life with. It is important to note that Otis does best in a feline-free home, as he prefers to be without cats. He seeks a loving family where he can receive the attention and affection he truly deserves. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who will bring joy, laughter, and warmth into your home, Otis may just be the perfect match for you. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and eagerly waiting for the chance to find a family that will cherish him for the wonderful dog he is! ❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com
