Moko looks like a 200 pound Cujo when he gives you teeth at the kennel door or fence gate. He will never be a social butterfly and will eat your children or grandkids. He lives for treats, toys, and tug of war. Once you're in his circle... you are Golden! We believe, even though he is a quirky...crazy boy... he needs love just like everyone else. And be ready for it... cause he will want to sleep with you and will protect you as if his life depends on it! If you feel the same way Moko feels about people... he is definitely YOUR BOY! Story
Pumpkin spice and everything nice! If you think miniature pumpkins are the cutest thing ever, do we have the girl for you. Pumpkin came to us on Thanksgiving day after she was trapped running in the Tioga area for a few days, likely abandoned. After that harrowing ordeal, she's understandably been a little nervous, but she's been getting braver every day! She lives up to her name by being as sweet as pumpkin pie with extra whipped cream on top. This tiny dachshund/mix gal is about 2 years old. She's good with cats (and loves sleeping in their beds after they've warmed them up) and would likely be fine with a calm dog. Pumpkin is still working on leash training and going potty outside, things she was sadly never taught, but she's learning quickly. She loves to play when she thinks no one is watching, but gets a little bashful when she knows you're spying on her. If you give her the time, patience and love she deserves, Pumpkin will become your trusted confidant, your biggest fan and your BFF for life.
