After a "Meet and Greet" then a decision for both the rescue and you will determine if this is a good match. My name is Jason aka Noah, as in the father of all mankind:) I have been through alot in my life, I started out in a horrible hoarding situation with my sisters, brothers, uncles and mother. I knew in my heart of hearts that there is a much better world out there. And there is!! I was saved with about 88 dogs and pups, the ladies who drive out to save all of us are absolute saints.... So, back to my origin story, I had an unbelievable hernia out my back end that made my life hell...so the ladies git me to the rescue and 3 SURGERIES later, I am living a normal life 😀 I am a sweet boy, but having come from the situation i did, i am not a cuddle bug. I will hang out with you, just next to your chair. My life has come full circle and I am finally ready to find thst forever home who will love me until the end of time. I am waiting!!! Butch was rescued from a California shelter with his brother. - Estimated date of birth is 11/28/24 - Weighs 7.5 pounds at 10 weeks old. We are predicting Butch will be under 35 pounds full grown but we cannot guarantee size at maturity. - If a Dachshund and German Shepherd had a love child they might pop out Butch! We don't know Butch's breed mix but that's our best guess. DNA test sent off 2/10/25 and results are pending! - Loving, slightly shy, sweetheart who loves snuggles - Fostered with other dogs and getting lots of positive interactions with adult dogs Butch has had two rounds of vaccines and dewormer, is microchipped and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Meet Naya! She is currently 14 weeks old, about 8 lbs, and we think she may be a Dachshund/ lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.
