Story
Romi is a 7-year-old male Dachshund, weighing 5kg. He lived with an elderly owner in Korea, but due to his owner’s declining health, he suddenly had to say goodbye. Despite this heartbreaking change, Romi remains a warm and affectionate dog who loves people. Romi is a friendly and loving pup who approaches new people with ease. He happily accepts treats and enjoys being close to his human companions. Occasionally, he may bark when asking for treats, but overall, he is calm and well-mannered. He does not show signs of anxiety or aggression and prefers a peaceful, relaxed environment. Romi finds happiness in bonding with his humans and loves receiving affection. While Romi enjoys human companionship, he has limited experience playing with other dogs. He is not particularly interested in them and prefers spending time alone. This may be due to his past living situation, where he was primarily with his owner. He may take some time to adjust to a new environment, but his adaptable nature will help him settle in quickly. Romi is used to living indoors and has experience using pee pads. If his new family prefers outdoor potty training, he can learn with a consistent routine. He is well-adjusted to home life and will likely transition smoothly into a new household. Romi will thrive in a home with: ✔️ Someone who wants to build a deep and loving bond with him ✔️ A patient owner who can guide him through outdoor potty training if needed ✔️ A warm and stable environment where he can feel secure ✔️ A family ready to give him the love and care he deserves Even after experiencing sudden changes, Romi still loves people and craves affection. He is a loyal, gentle companion who will bring warmth and joy to his new home. With his adaptable personality and loving nature, Romi is ready to start a new chapter with a forever family. Are you ready to welcome Romi into your heart and home? 💕

Story
**Note: Honey is in a foster home in Toronto. Background: Honey was rescued from a city pound in Ansan, Korea, last fall. Despite his adorable nature and love for people, he had no luck finding his forever home in Korea. After his rescue, he spent time in a foster home in an apartment and later stayed at a dog training school until he left Korea. He is now in a foster home in Toronto. Personality and Socialization: Honey is as sweet as his name suggests. He’s a mellow, gentle boy with low to medium energy. Affectionate and loving, Honey is a true velcro dog who thrives on being close to his humans. While he adores people, he's selective with other dogs—calm and relaxed with some, but a bit bossy and reactive with others. For his peace of mind, Honey would do best as the only dog in the household. Honey is good with kids but has no experience with cats. Behaviour: Honey is well-behaved in the car and, although not a fan of baths, he allows his people to handle them without fuss. Currently, he’s attending a dog training school to work on his socialization with other dogs and leash reactivity. He tends to lunge and bark at other dogs during walks, but he’s made significant progress through consistent training and is showing great improvement. Health and Diet: Honey is in good health following thorough veterinary check-ups. He’s been neutered, microchipped, is up-to-date on all vaccinations, and has completed his dental work. He did parasite tests and takes a monthly parasite preventative. He enjoys dry food and hasn’t shown any signs of allergies. Ideal Home: Honey earned his name because of his sweet, gentle nature with people. He’s a cuddle bug who loves staying close to his humans, showing his affectionate and obedient side. An ideal home for Honey would be with someone who leads a relaxed, quiet lifestyle in a peaceful neighborhood. He would thrive as the only dog in the household, where he can fully relax and enjoy life with his family. A person who has plenty of time to spend at home with him would be the perfect match for this loving boy. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share quiet moments and heartfelt cuddles, Honey is ready to melt your heart. -------------------- For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/honey-4/
