Story
**Note: Honey is currently in Korea, but we are looking for his forever home in Toronto. His flight from Korea to Toronto is scheduled for Feb 23. Background: Honey was rescued from a city pound in Ansan, Korea, last fall. Despite his adorable nature and love for people, he had no luck finding his forever home in Korea. After his rescue, he lived in a foster home in an apartment and currently resides in a boarding house while waiting for his perfect match. Personality and Socialization: Honey is as sweet as his name suggests. He’s a mellow, gentle boy with low to medium energy. Affectionate and loving, Honey is a true velcro dog who thrives on being close to his humans. While he adores people, he's selective with other dogs—calm and relaxed with some, but a bit bossy and reactive with others. For his peace of mind, Honey would do best as the only dog in the household. Honey is good with kids but has no experience with cats. Behaviour: Honey is well-behaved in the car and, although not a fan of baths, he allows his people to handle them without fuss. Currently, he’s attending a dog training school to work on his socialization with other dogs and leash reactivity. He tends to lunge and bark at other dogs during walks, but he’s made significant progress through consistent training and is showing great improvement. Health and Diet: Honey is in good health following thorough veterinary check-ups. He’s been neutered, microchipped, is up-to-date on all vaccinations, and has completed his dental work. He did parasite tests and takes a monthly parasite preventative. He enjoys dry food and hasn’t shown any signs of allergies. Ideal Home: Honey earned his name because of his sweet, gentle nature with people. He’s a cuddle bug who loves staying close to his humans, showing his affectionate and obedient side. An ideal home for Honey would be with someone who leads a relaxed, quiet lifestyle in a peaceful neighborhood. He would thrive as the only dog in the household, where he can fully relax and enjoy life with his family. A person who has plenty of time to spend at home with him would be the perfect match for this loving boy. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share quiet moments and heartfelt cuddles, Honey is ready to melt your heart. -------------------- For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/honey-4/
