Fill out an application at the link below.  Find the dog/cat you are interested in and click the adopt button.  That will take you to an application.  Once approved you will be called for an appointment to meet your possible new family member, or at that time you can meet the other animals as well.  You must include 3 references with phone numbers for you application to be processed.  https://petstablished.com/public/search/shelter/301551 Adoption fee is $150 for all dogs over 6 months old, $200 for large breed puppies under 6 months, $250 for small breed puppies.  All adoptions include, spay/neuter, vaccines, a heartworm test, and a free 1 year membership to our 5 acre ARF Park.  For other dog questions please email ARFdogs74006@gmail.com We do adopt out of state, but the adopter must travel to ARF to meet the dog they are looking to adopt.  They must have an approved application before traveling to meet the dog.  We do allow small dogs that are eligible to fly in the cabin of a plane.  We DO NOT allow dogs to travel in the cargo area of the plane under any circumstances.  Any dog that is adopted can of course go by personal vehicle.  We do not allow dogs to be transported "pony express style" where they are passed from driver to driver.   ##2260119##

Story
ADOPT LESSIE Lessie is the mama to Wrigley, Holly, and Marley and most likely countless others. Her days of being a mom are almost behind her. She will be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped in just a few short weeks when her babies fly the coupe and she will be looking for her forever home. Lessie is certified as a lap dog. She is the sweetest, cuddliest, most loveable little girl. Coming in at around 9lbs this itty bitty girl will steal your heart. She wants nothing but love and will give it all in return.  She came from an awful situation and has taken the most amazing care of her babies. It’s Lessie’s turn to be pampered and shown what it’s like to be spoiled.  Someone adopt her and give her the best life she deserves. She will love you forever and ever!! ##2247113##

Story
Hoolie would like to thank everyone for her presents. (She also wants to thank you for Baffies) Hoolie is playful 3.5 month old Daug mix (dachshund pug) that is looking for a family that also will give her presents. Christmas might be her favorite time of ever. Hoolie and her siblings should stay on the smaller side, 25-30lbs, but don't let their size fool you. They are up for almost anything. They want to run and play with the big dogs. Hoolie is crate trained, but is not a fan. Also still working on potty training, but has the general idea. Available through Legacy of Hope Dog Rescue, her adoption fee is 200.
