This little pretty chocolate dappled girl is called Mazie and goodness what a cracker jack she is. Don’t for minute let those green eyes and chocolate marbled coat fool you to think she is gentle or easy. She is the CEO of dogs and will run the show at your house if given the chance. Mazie is 30 pounds and 9 months old. She is a breed mix of Dachshund and Basset Hound we are told. Her pics make her look big but she is a “tiny but mighty” little girl. Mazie is not a fan of any other female dogs in her life or around her. We don’t know where that came from but the dislike is there so we say…don’t ignore the warning. She is great with big male dogs, not good with other small dogs or cats, but loves people deeply and wants to be around them. She needs a fenced yard because she is a runner as most Dachshunds can be and she needs to be able to run and play and get her energy out daily. Older children would be better for her and she is crate trained, 90% housebroken and she adores going for walks; a very good girl on a leash we can say. She is beautiful but a “tad” bit complicated, which is why we have outlined the Likes and Dislikes of this girl to a TEE! The owner of Arlo, Lainey and 4 other akc registered doxies was living in a rental home with 4 children and the landlord said the dogs had to go. Her mom took them while she was supposed to find another place to live but that did not happen. Her mom had 3 dogs of her own and was overwhelmed so she asked for help. All the dogs are sweet but we took Arlo and Lainey. These two are quite bonded so we are going to try to place them together. They are both spay/neutered, UTD on vaccines and HW negative, They will also be microchipped. In their original home, they were left on a self feeder and I am afraid Arlo overindulged but Lainey was able to keep her figure. They are both so so sweet and cute! They both Love cuddles and kisses! They both seem to be reliably housetrained. Arlo is a red pie bald and Lainey is a black and tan wirehaired doxie. Lainey was born on 9/10/2021 so she is 3 years old, Arlo is 4. This adorable girl definitely has a before and after story and Critter Cavalry is so excited to be part of a great future and a change in her life. Her name is Gidget and she's a 2-year-old 34 lb Doodle mix girl that was running as a stray for some time in a very rural County of Tennessee. She was finally caught and trembled as she sat in her kennel run at the small shelter. They knew she would never improve if she stayed in that kennel waiting for someone to find her so a kind groomer with a rescue heart was notified. This girl was an emergency emotionally and physically and needed to get her cleaned up and shaved down and leave the shelter. Soon, she was smiling and feeling like a new dog! The before and after pictures are amazing aren't they? She has a lot of energy and would do best with a dog that can hold his own with her. She is going to be a victory story of redemption. Meet Benny..... This dog is Fantastic.... We received a frantic call from a NY pet store owner needing to move the remaining pups out of the store since the new NY law was passed and dogs are no longer able to be sold in pet stores. Benny is AMAZING.. He is a petite 3.5 month old Dauchsand. He weighs under 5 pounds and will be around 10- 13 pounds at full growth. This guy had demodex in the pet store a few weeks ago. He was treated with medical shampoos and dips. We put him on Simparica. His fur is slightly missing still in some areas. This coloring is super unique, he is a blue and tan Dauchsand. We will not placing him in a home with super young kids or large dogs. He is very tiny.... He loves to be held and give thousands of kisses to everyone he meets. Being fostered in Butler NJ.
