Story
Cupid is a tiny little sweetheart. He is the last of the litter of three that we are trying to find a home for. He's a mere 3 pounds And will not be a very large dog full grown. Probably around 10 pounds. Perfect for small homes or apartment living. he has a very spunky and lively personality. We prefer a household without small children as he is very delicate. He needs someone who will be patient with him while he potty trains. He is being fostered in Arkansas, but transport is available biweekly to New England. He is fully vetted: neutered, microchip, all vaccinations. His adoption fee is $650, and that covers the cost of transport as well. ##2232009##

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Blueberry is a 4 yr old male dachshund mix. He came into rescue a few months back. He had lived his entire life chained to a tree and his collar grew into his neck, which required surgical intervention. His wound is healed but he is left with a scar.Blueberry is 30 lbs - but he is very low to the ground. He is a happy, friendly boy who loves everyone and is eager to learn. He is crate trained and never has accidents in his crate. He is very food motivated so training should be easy for him.  He has a weird coat which we believe is due to dilute alopecia. He had almost no hair at all when he came to us, and his skin was severely sunburned, but it is slowly growing in. He may never have a thick coat. Dilute alopecia occurs in some dogs that are gray in color, it is a result of the genetics that create that color. It requires no treatment. Blueberry is good with other dogs. Blueberry started at the Paws in Prison program on 10/23/24. While there, he will work daily with an inmate on the basics and maybe even a few tricks, and  meet weekly with a dog trainer. In about 8 weeks he will graduate with his canine good citizen certificate and will be ready to go to a new home!  Neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.  Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. Here’s a sad one and we know he’s not going to be the most popular, but we are hopeful. His name is Buster. He was found as a stray in horrible condition and we think he’d been in rough shape for quite a long time. His eyes were infected as well as his skin. We’ve treated his eyes and skin, but unfortunately, we think we’ve done pretty much all we can for his skin. We believe he was in this shape as a stray for so long, that his skin is permanently damaged. Some of his hair should continue to grown in but he may never have a full coat. He LOVES kids and he’s good with cats! He’s a sweet boy. He’s good with other dogs. We believe he is about 4 years old. He’s about 25-30 pounds. He is still on some eye drops and his foster mom is still giving baths with medicated shampoo every other week. We will send shampoo with whoever adopts this special boy and eye drops if still needed. We hope someone will see beyond his lack of fur and want to spoil this guy for the rest of his life. He is heartworm negative, UTD on vaccines, neutered, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello there, I'm Marcel, the smartest, funniest dog you'll ever meet. My previous owner had a stroke, and in all the confusion, I ended up at the shelter. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not a bad place, but it's no five-star hotel either. Once, I tried to make a break for it, using my superior intellect to pick the lock with a chewed up bone. It was going perfectly until I realized I was 'escaping' into the vet's office! Talk about a plot twist! I ended up with a lampshade on  my head and some missing family jewels.  Despite my hilarious mishaps, I'm a real sweetheart who loves to play and explore. When I first meet you I can be a little cautious, but once I know you I'm energetic and friendly, and I promise to keep you laughing. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a sense of humor, then I'm your guy! To adopt this dog, please fill out an application at www.adoggie4you.org.  He was born around 01/11/2023 and weighs 22.5 pounds.  His adoption fee is $300.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 12:09 pm

Story
We are Flynn and Rider! Like thieves in the night we'll steal your heart. Flynn and Rider are absolutely gorgeous and active puppies looking for forever homes to finally call their own. Flynn is a bit more reserved than his brother but he still loves to go play. He'll come sit by your feet or even show you rocks he's found. He loves to snuggle and can be a bit quirky sometimes! Don't get Tangled in our cute-pie puppy eyes! Flynn's blazing a new trail of life, had Parvo and they were unsure if he was gonna make it. Now he's recovered and making the most of life! These pups have healthy appetites and will stop when full. Will graze later after activities. Their mom has short legs and longer body, pointy ears, narrow face. Might be corgi/dachshund mixes and be energetic little terrier dogs. They have cute, little, wobbly legs. Like to play, run, really good at getting them outside, commands to get them outside, go pee command. Eager to learn, observant, smart. Will need leash training most likely. Will walk on leash, don't pull, but are going through a chewing stage. Not a lot of experience with other dogs. Interested in playing with other dogs, look through door to see the other dogs. No experience with cats or children so please introduce them slowly. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Peanut is a cartoon character in a shorty dog body. He's a fantastic little buddy who loves everyone he meets. He's equal parts affectionate and playful, he loves a walk, and he's cool with other dogs. He's house-trained and does well in a crate, although he doesn't require one. He's got a pretty significant overbite that makes him even cuter...if that's possible. He's a 6 year old chiweenie looking for someone to adore him as much as we do, and that's A LOT.
