Life can be a challenge when you are a small dog in a big world. Finding your place in the world can be a challenge but we are vested in finding our girl Betty the home she deserves and will be for a lifetime. Betty is a 3-year-old dachshund mix and she currently weighs around 13 pounds. Betty has experience big changes in her life so she will need time to adjust accordingly. Her shy demeanor is a work in progress as she will need a quiet home to allow her space and time to get adjusted to her new life and find her comfort level. She is good with other dogs but will need a home without young children or one with children over the age of 12. She has not been exposed to cats, so her acceptance remains an unknown at this time. Without a doubt, this girl is a sweetheart, and she will show her love over and over again. She has made her mark in high scores with having learned her house, crate and leash training. Betty can move forward with learning some basic commands and impress her family. Although she is house trained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Her small stature proves to be an added bonus because she will make an ideal lap companion. Spending time with her will certainly be the highlight of your day. Take some time to get to know Betty and are sure to find a new best friend.The adoption fee for Betty is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue, and transport fees.
