This adorable little lad will dazzle and delight you with his goofy antics and fun-loving personality. His hobbies include exploring, chew toys, and playing with tennis balls.Theo is happy-go-lucky and plays well with everyone – dogs, kids, you name it. And although he’s never met on a cat, this affable fella would likely win them over too (after a proper introduction, of course). While older kids are no problem, Theo is still a teething puppy and should be monitored with little ones. Otherwise, he’s the perfect addition to any home ready for a puppy.Theo is a curious and clever pup. He is comfortable with a crate and struts his stuff like a rockstar on the leash. He's almost completely house-trained and just needs patience and a consistent schedule to get him over the finish line. Ready to explore the world with an adorable pup? Theo’s your guy! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. He is a shy guy but enjoys the company of his people and other pups when his personal space is respected. Lenny is looking for patient owners who can appreciate his introverted, sweet personality. He is fostered in a multi-dog home and has thrived with pups of similar energy. While Lenny is building his confidence and slowly warming up to new humans, he would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy kids who will not suddenly pick him up or approach him too quickly. His calm disposition would likely be fine with a cozy corner of his own on the couch or a comfy dog bed, he’s perfectly content to chill.Lenny is smart and clever. He is crate trained and house-trained. He is crated occasionally during the day and overnight without any issue. He uses his crate as his safe space and will hang out there on his own. He is working on his leash manners and is making remarkable progress.Watching Lenny warm up to his people will truly be rewarding- are you ready to be a part of his journey? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. She loves to snuggle in a lap or even better, under the covers on someone's bed, but she is off like a shot to play with her dog friends or to check out what the neighbors are doing.Apple Fall is house trained and good with all sizes of dogs, but will definitely chase cats. She will eat anything and has been known to turn over a wastebasket just in case there is any food in there. She can entertain herself with toys, but doesn't fight anyone over them. She has not been around kids while in her foster home, but would most likely be fine with them.Apple Fall would be fine as an only dog getting all the attention, or in a home with others. She is gentle enough for a senior citizen or a small child, but lively enough to join in with the activities of a couple or a family with older children. She will make someone a wonderful pet! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. Story
Can anyone resist this guy?? Meet Butter, a charming 16-pound piebald dachshund with a stunning coat of white, black, and tan. At around 4 years old, Butter is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped & on preventative. He recently had a dental cleaning. His silky-soft fur is simply irresistible! Butter loves to snuggle and is happiest when he can curl up across your lap for a cozy nap. He adores his people and follows them from room to room, showing just how much he enjoys being close. When left alone, he can get a bit upset but will settle down. He is crate trained. Butter is also a great car companion. Walking around the neighborhood is one of Butter’s favorite activities. He thrives when he can join a group of dogs, sniffing around and watching squirrels. He is prey driven & will chase after things so he MUST be kept on leash at all times or in a secure fenced in yard when off leash. Due to a sensitive stomach, Butter eats only Hill's Prescription Diet I/D small bites in chicken flavor. He loves his food & has no trouble finishing his meals. Butter does see the resident cats and barks at them. He seems a little too interested in them so we are working on this!! He is a total love bag & will make someone or a family a great addition. Please apply for Butter at coaldr.org if you are interested in adopting him. His fee is $500

Story
Hello! My name is Boone, and I am the goodest boy! The foster lady calls me “King of Chaos”, whatever that means, because I like to chew stuff. But I’m a puppy so what do you expect? I’m looking for someone other than this lady to give me a home so I can have stuff to destroy as much as I want. Oh, and a fenced yard to play in, and another active canine friend would be awesomeness, too! If you have all those cool things, I’d love to be your goodest boy forever and ever and always. Boone is neutered and up to date on vaccinations and ready to find his forever home! Boone is fostered in Smithfield, VA.

Story
This little pretty chocolate dappled girl is called Mazie and goodness what a cracker jack she is.  Don’t for minute let those green eyes and chocolate marbled coat fool you to think she is gentle or easy.  She is the CEO of dogs and will run the show at your house if given the chance.  Mazie is 30 pounds and 9 months old.  She is a breed mix of Dachshund and Basset Hound we are told.  Her pics make her look big but she is a “tiny but mighty” little girl.  Mazie is not a fan of any other female dogs in her life or around her.  We don’t know where that came from but the dislike is there so we say…don’t ignore the warning.  She is great with big male dogs, not good with other small dogs or cats, but loves people deeply and wants to be around them.  She needs a fenced yard because she is a runner as most Dachshunds can be and she needs to be able to run and play and get her energy out daily.  Older children would be better for her and she is crate trained, 90% housebroken and she adores going for walks; a very good girl on a leash we can say.  She is beautiful but a “tad” bit complicated, which is why we have outlined the Likes and Dislikes of this girl to a TEE!  We want the right and perfect home and there are lots out there that can give her that.  Tiny but Mighty little Mazie is ready for a home NOW!  Please email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue : ccrnewengland@gmail.com  Tell us where you live when you email asking for information and an application. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 4, 2024, 11:48 pm
