This charming little boy, along with his father and two brothers, came to us all the way from rural Alabama to find forever homes of their own. Wallace is a sweet and loveable little fella who gets along great with other dogs. Because of all the recent changes in his life he is a little shy at first. His foster says, "Wallace is super sweet. He is shy at first but seeks out love and attention. He will snuggle up next to you, I can see him being a total lapdog. He is quiet in his crate and appears to be housebroken. He is doing well with my two dogs and has been good with the few other dogs he has met." At his young age, he is in his prime for training and socialization. He may need some patience to help him adapt to a new home, but for all that unconditional love you'll get in return, it will be worth the effort. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs.
