I'm a young, spunky gal who loves to play. I get along great with other dogs and I'm always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. I'm friendly and sweet, and I love to give kisses and cuddle up close. My ideal day would be a nice walk, some playtime, and lots of belly rubs. I'm full of love and energy and I can't wait to share it with a family of my own. I did find out that I am heartworm positive, but with treatment provided by K-9 Lifesavers, I will be good as new in no time. Adopting me means gaining a loyal, loving companion who will always be there to brighten your day. Fill out an application today and let's make some wonderful memories together! To learn more about heartworm please visit: https://www.webmd.com/pets/dogs/features/heartworms-in-dogs-facts-and-mythsYour new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. BeeBee has an outgoing, friendly personality, and she just adores people and will seek their attention and affection. She is mostly housetrained, but may need an initial refresher to help her adapt to a new environment. She is not a fan of being crated and will bark, but when uncrated, she is not typically a big barker. Her ideal home would have a fenced yard and she would do well with an individual or a family with older, gentle kids. She also gets along best with smaller dogs and could make a nice companion in a home with another small dog. Her medium energy level is perfect for those seeking a pet who is active, but also knows when to relax. BeeBee is ready to find her new home and become the loyal friend you never knew you needed. Toast – Female – DOB 3/13/2023 (1 year 8 months) Doug’s Sister - Black/Tan Dachshund chi mix Russell – Male – 13.8 lbs – DOB 5/18/2022 (2 years 6 months) – Black/Tan Dachshund chi mix Doug – Male – 10.1 lbs – DOB 3/13/2023 (1 year 8 months) – Brindle Dachshund/Chi mix Daisy – Puppy - Female – 5 lbs – Under 5 months of age - Brown Dachshund/Chi Mix These sweet babies are all small breed doggies in need of forever homes. They have been raised in the same household but unfortunately the owners can no longer care for them properly (they have other doggies). They have been very loved and cared for their whole lives. They are all house trained (except for the puppy, she just needs some consistency) and they’re all very happy, well-socialized dogs. They have been raised with children and would do wonderful with them. As you can see in the video the fosters young daughter is laying on the floor and all 4 come running to lick her all over. These 4 have been raised with other dogs and cats and have no issues with either! More information about the doggies coming soon – If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org
