We are Flynn and Rider! Like thieves in the night we'll steal your heart. Flynn and Rider are absolutely gorgeous and active puppies looking for forever homes to call their own. Flynn is more reserved than Rider but he still loves to go play. He'll come sit by your feet and take in the world around him or he'll try to scamper up on your lap to show you rocks he's found. He loves being up high to get scratchies and watch his brother. Rider is the adventurer, he enjoys sniffing through the grass and pouncing grasshoppers. He likes to get the big dog toys to drag around the yard and have his brother chase him. Rider sits patiently waiting for his turn to get scratchies on your lap. He's so adorable! He's fearless until big trucks rumble by then you'll find him behind your chair! Don't get Tangled in our cute-pie puppy eyes! These pups have healthy appetites but will stop when full, graze later after activities. Their mom has short legs, longer body, pointy ears, narrow face, and a beautiful redish brindle coat. Might be corgi/dachshund mixes or be energetic little terrier dogs. They have cute little legs and look like they waddle from behind! Both like to play, run, and carry things around. They are really good at hustling from their room to door to go outside with "lets go, let's go, hurry, hurry, all the way to the door." Then once out the door "all the way to the gate... no pee pee in the walk way." Then "hurry hurry all the way back to go potty." They bound around in a scurry watching me for praise at their good efforts! Eager to learn, observant, smart. Will walk on leashes together but criss cross a bit so will need individual leash training. They are a little timid with new things in general so slow introductions would be helpful as they learn. They are young and going through a chewing stage so age appropriate chew toys a plus. Have experience with dogs their size. Very timid with big dogs. No experience with cats or children so please introduce them slowly. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

ADOPTED*** Toast – Female – DOB 3/13/2023 (1 year 8 months) Doug’s Sister - Black/Tan Dachshund chi mix ADOPTED*** Russell – Male – 13.8 lbs – DOB 5/18/2022 (2 years 6 months) – Black/Tan Dachshund chi mix Doug – Male – 10.1 lbs – DOB 3/13/2023 (1 year 8 months) – Brindle Dachshund/Chi mix ADOPTED*** Daisy – Puppy - Female – 5 lbs – Under 5 months of age - Brown Dachshund/Chi Mix About Dougie, the last available dachshund – He is a CUDDLER to the max and wants to be in your lap or laying next to you whenever he possibly can. He will be your shadow and follow you everywhere. Doug loves to give kisses and his biggest goal in life is to make his family/person happy. He is quite outgoing once he comes out of his shell (which doesn’t take long). His foster says if he could, he would be glued or handcuffed to you so you can always be next to you. He would be wonderful for somebody that is home more often than not and wants a very needy, cuddly small dog. Doug loves other dogs and would prefer a home with another dog or dogs in it, but it is not required. He can be a bit shy – if you come at him too quickly or scare him by picking him up too fast, he will/can pee a little bit. The foster calls it a “nervous pee-er” – Poor Dougie. While he has been raised with children, we believe a home that is a little more on the calm side is best. Doug is not very interested in toys but does occasionally when he is super excited get the zoomies and runs all over the place and acts like he’s a flying dog jumping on and off furniture in the middle of the zoomies. All 4 doggies have been raised in the same household but unfortunately the owners can no longer care for them properly (they have other doggies). They have been very loved and cared for their whole lives. They are all mostly house trained and they’re all very happy, well-socialized dogs. They have been raised with children and would do wonderful with them. As you can see in the video the fosters young daughter is laying on the floor and all 4 come running to lick her all over. Lady Bug-Dachshund/Chihuahua female, ~ 1-2 yr. (Feb. 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application. Lady Bug came to Rescue when her owner abandoned her in a rural mountain area. She was very pregnant and in poor health. Rescue took her in, helped her through the pregnancy and back to good health. The puppies all have their homes and now it's momma's turn to have her new forever family. She's living in a foster home waiting for her forever family to find her. There are other dogs in the foster home and Lady Bug gets along best with the large dogs, but they feel she'd really be happiest as a single dog. She will enjoy an active lifestyle, a great hiking or walking partner. Bred to be loyal and kind. Lady Bug's weight is about 25# and she is full grown. The adoption fee is $350, to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. He had been abandon with her and she wanted to give him some special training, prior to adoption. He's been through a Prison Training program and has learned so much. He is housetrained and crate trained, having lived in an apartment at the prison, with his inmate trainer. He's had basic obedience. He learned about grooming and good husbandry skills. Hector is very smart and quick to learn new skills. Hector weighs 16# and is full grown. He gets along well with other dogs and is a big time player. He's in a foster home for the past few weeks and will get in on all the 'games'. He loves the ball, tag, tug...anything fun and active. Hector would be great at agility. He's quick, wants to play/please and very athletic. He's described as being a happy boy with lots of energy and that is very true. Hector can't wait to have his own family.
