Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.TINA WEENA Breed: dachshund mix Age: 2 years Weight: 14 pounds Adoption Fee: $325   Vetting Status: spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed  and maintained on heartworm preventatives ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TINA WEENA is a sweet, super spunky, sassy doxie lady. Tina is convinced she's still a puppy & always wants to play, play PLAY!! Tina loves older kids, most other dogs & playing with EVERYONE.   Her  favorite games include  "lets-take-all-the-toys-to-the-couch"   and "chase-the-yellow-ball-but-dont-expect-me-to-bring-it-back-to-you". She came to us as a stray, so we don't know much of her past... only that she is very out-going, bordering on bossy "B" at times.  Chasing squirrels is VERY fun, so cats & small critters are probably not a great idea as potential housemates.   Tina is  extremely food motivated --what doxie isn't? Tina is housetrained, but not above sneaking off to piddle in the house if its raining though!   Crates are boring. Tina would much prefer to hang out with you on the couch watching TV - just don't let her steal your popcorn! If you think TINA is the dog for you, please fill out an adoption application today! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TINA WEENA is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore.   An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link --  https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption   Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt.   The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PLEASE NOTE ~ All of our rescue members are volunteers with many obligations. While we may not be capable of immediate response, we will respond to all inquiries and application submissions as soon as possible. Thank you for thinking adoption! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ #dachshundsofinstagram #adoptme #puppybreathVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 18, 2024, 12:10 am

BeeBee has an outgoing, friendly personality, and she just adores people and will seek their attention and affection. She is mostly housetrained, but may need an initial refresher to help her adapt to a new environment. She is not a fan of being crated and will bark, but when uncrated, she is not typically a big barker. Her ideal home would have a fenced yard and she would do well with an individual or a family with older, gentle kids. She also gets along best with smaller dogs and could make a nice companion in a home with another small dog. Her medium energy level is perfect for those seeking a pet who is active, but also knows when to relax. BeeBee is ready to find her new home and become the loyal friend you never knew you needed. Fill out an application today and meet this little sweetheart in person!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
We are Flynn and Rider! Like thieves in the night we'll steal your heart. Flynn and Rider are absolutely gorgeous and active puppies looking for forever homes to call their own. Flynn is more reserved than Rider but he still loves to go play. He'll come sit by your feet and take in the world around him or he'll try to scamper up on your lap to show you rocks he's found. He loves being up high to get scratchies and watch his brother. Rider is the adventurer, he enjoys sniffing through the grass and pouncing grasshoppers. He likes to get the big dog toys to drag around the yard and have his brother chase him. Rider sits patiently waiting for his turn to get scratchies on your lap. He's so adorable! He's fearless until big trucks rumble by then you'll find him behind your chair! Don't get Tangled in our cute-pie puppy eyes! These pups have healthy appetites but will stop when full, graze later after activities. Their mom has short legs, longer body, pointy ears, narrow face, and a beautiful redish brindle coat. Might be corgi/dachshund mixes or be energetic little terrier dogs. They have cute little legs and look like they waddle from behind! Both like to play, run, and carry things around. They are really good at hustling from their room to door to go outside with "lets go, let's go, hurry, hurry, all the way to the door." Then once out the door "all the way to the gate... no pee pee in the walk way." Then "hurry hurry all the way back to go potty." They bound around in a scurry watching me for praise at their good efforts! Eager to learn, observant, smart. Will walk on leashes together but criss cross a bit so will need individual leash training. They are a little timid with new things in general so slow introductions would be helpful as they learn. They are young and going through a chewing stage so age appropriate chew toys a plus. Have experience with dogs their size. Very timid with big dogs. No experience with cats or children so please introduce them slowly. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Glory, such a wonderful word. Giving honor, love and praise. My name is NOW Glory, and let me tell you... i had no name before I got to the rescue.... But NOW, I am GLORY and I am loved in the foster mom's home and pack. I have a really great friend too, his name is Leggo and he was from a rough family too. So we have kind of a kinship of despair, which has turned into LOVE and FOOD and WARMTH and HOPE! We didn't come into the rescue together but we are attached at the hip :) Please adopt us together!! We won't take up much space! I am 9# and my buddy is only 10#!! Local adoption together is $400 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee together is $800 (includes transport to your area)

Toast – Female – DOB 3/13/2023 (1 year 8 months) Doug’s Sister - Black/Tan Dachshund chi mix Russell – Male – 13.8 lbs – DOB 5/18/2022 (2 years 6 months) – Black/Tan Dachshund chi mix Doug – Male – 10.1 lbs – DOB 3/13/2023 (1 year 8 months) – Brindle Dachshund/Chi mix Daisy – Puppy - Female – 5 lbs – Under 5 months of age - Brown Dachshund/Chi Mix These sweet babies are all small breed doggies in need of forever homes. They have been raised in the same household but unfortunately the owners can no longer care for them properly (they have other doggies). They have been very loved and cared for their whole lives. They are all house trained (except for the puppy, she just needs some consistency) and they’re all very happy, well-socialized dogs. They have been raised with children and would do wonderful with them. As you can see in the video the fosters young daughter is laying on the floor and all 4 come running to lick her all over. These 4 have been raised with other dogs and cats and have no issues with either! More information about the doggies coming soon – If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org
