I’m Avi. They say I’m a dachshund but I have these crazy long legs. I’m a little shy in the beginning but look out when I warm up. My foster says I must have had a good life at some point because I came with talents. Just check out my picture with me catching treats in the air! I enjoy going for walks and get along with other dogs. I’m an active 13 year old with no health issues. I came from a domestic violence and do best in a gentle and loving home. I’m a dapper 12 year old dachshund mix and I unfortunately found my way into foster after my owner passed away but I don’t let that keep me down. I’m a spry senior gentleman with lots of life left to share with my new forever home! I weigh 13 lbs, am neutered and up to date on shots. I love walks in the park and do well on leash. I do great with other dogs and people but I get excited and like to bark at the cat. I loooove playing with squeaky toys and will bring them to you to play fetch. If you’re looking for a pint sized companion who’s house trained with good manners and medium to low energy then I’m your guy! I love to beg for snacks and keep my people company around the house, whether it’s doing chores or napping on the couch together. I can’t wait to meet you! Damon is still looking for his furever person! I’m thinking now that he’s a dachshund mix with his low rider ways. Surely has Chihuahua in him too. He’s about 3 years old with lots of energy to play but also a fantastic snuggler! He is so happy to snuggle up on the sofa or in bed. He loves his peoples but especially the guys, he just wants to kick it with his bro’s! He’s remarkably unhelpful while you do yoga as he thinks that’s the perfect time for fetch. Or to give kisses. He is quite entertaining!This fun little dude thinks he needs to protect the house when people first come over, but he does great on outings and loves to go on walks. Where you are, he wants to be. He’s still a complete weirdo about shoes. His thing is he loves to put his head in shoes and get all the good sniffs! Especially when they just came off your feet. He’s been neutered, is up to date on his shots, and heartworm negative.
