Bandit is a mini tricolor smooth coat dachshund with ticking. He came to the rescue with five other mini dachshunds after his elderly owner died. He is a really sweet boy but tends to be a little skittish. He needs a person with patience and time to gain his trust and would do well with another dog to follow. Our rescue organization adopts within the following states: Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana and Missouri. A fully fenced yard is required to be considered for adoption (no underground fencing). JUNIOR is the typical dachshund...he loves to eat...his owner, is currently in the hospital and has no family to care for Junior...so he was boarded at the vets office . The owner has to have surgery with extended care so he has decided though he loves Junior a lot , its best to find him a permanent home. Junior is 4 yrs old...He is up to date on all vaccines too and is very happy and socialized. Currently in foster care with other dachshunds and is ready for a home of his own. He is a bit overweight at 19 lb.

Meet MOOSE MOOSE- This young fellow is 4 yrs old and has had a lot of changes in his short life. His family has moved several times and he is struggling with the new infant in the family too. He has not had other dogs in the family to interact with so it will be important that he find a home with a doggie buddy that is well socialized and friendly. Moose is better with women than men so a lady household with another pet would be best. He does hide his toys and is possessive of them but that might be improved on with another friend to keep him company...but toys should be supervised and always trade for a treat if he is protective. He is a piebald dachshund tri color . He is 8 years old. He is up to date on all vaccines and neutered. He is housetrained and loves his walks... He loves his buddy Augie but is fine to be adopted separately...We do give a discount for adoption of a bonded pair...He wants a home that has the time to take him for walks, play with him and give him lots of love
