Meet Ryder! This golden hair guy is truly as sweet as he looks. Ryder is a senior dachshund at 11 years old, but he has so much life left to live. He is a gentle, laid back guy who would love nothing more than to be with his person. He enjoys soft dog beds, snuggles, and soft snacks. Ryder came to us with dental disease and unfortunately did lose quite a few teeth, so he enjoys his food softened. He does well with other laid back dogs, and would enjoy another small companion in his new home. Ryder would love to live his golden years surrounded by love! Ryder is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and current on flea/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $300 To adopt, apply today at farfetcheddogrescue.org!

Meet Pretzel! ??This 32lb, 18-month-old Dachshund found herself at the shelter after being picked up by animal control while running loose. While the shelter can be a bit chaotic and noisy for her, she’s handling it like a champ—she may be a little timid at first, but she truly hasn’t met a stranger yet!Once she feels comfortable, her super friendly personality shines through. She loves everyone she meets and absolutely adores human affection. Playtime is one of her favorite things, especially when squeaky toys are involved, and she’s highly motivated by treats (which makes her extra fun to spoil!).Pretzel also walks great on a leash and enjoys getting out for some fresh air and exploration. With her sweet nature, playful energy, and loving heart, Pretzel is ready to find a forever home where she can feel safe, cherished, and loved.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
