Story
Meet Shaggy, a lively, 10yr old, Dachshund/yorkie/chihuahua mix with plenty of energy and affection for any family.  He gets along well with other dogs, although his compatibility with other cats is unknown.  Shaggy enjoys perching on top of the couch to survey his home, cuddling with humans, and observing all the household activities.  Though he is not very interested in toys, this might be due to his recent dental procedure.  He will also need a diet of softer foods.  He was only recently neutered so he will need a patient family who will continue to work on his marking tendencies.  He is currently using a belly band without any issues.  Shaggy is also good on a leash and enjoys going for walks.  He is also crate trained.  He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Story
The owner of Arlo, Lainey and 4 other akc registered doxies was living in a rental home with 4 children and the landlord said the dogs had to go. Her mom took them while she was supposed to find another place to live but that did not happen. Her mom had 3 dogs of her own and was overwhelmed so she asked for help. All the dogs are sweet but we took Arlo and Lainey. These two are quite bonded so we are going to try to place them together. They are both spay/neutered, UTD on vaccines and HW negative, They will also be microchipped. In their original home, they were left on a self feeder and I am afraid Arlo overindulged but Lainey was able to keep her figure. They are both so so sweet and cute! They both Love cuddles and kisses! They both seem to be reliably housetrained. Arlo is a red pie bald and Lainey is a black and tan wirehaired doxie. Lainey was born on 9/10/2021 so she is 3 years old, Arlo is 4. Story
Coco is a 6 year old dachshund mix, who we rescued in May 2021. Coco is spayed and up to date on all vaccines and has no known medical conditions. Coco is a very kind and gentle dog, who loves cuddling and spending time outside. Coco is house and crate trained and does well in cars. She enjoys fetch with her toys and being around us and would be a great companion in the perfect home. Coco gets anxious around other dogs, and has shown signs of aggression towards dogs that are her size or smaller, but has been OK with larger adult dogs. She will bark and pull on walks when she sees other dogs, so a fenced in yard is a plus. Coco does not do well with young children, which is why we are rehoming her. We have a 2 year old child, and Coco became very anxious and uncomfortable when she began to walk. We had an incident where Coco knocked our daughter down unprovoked, resulting in her being hurt. Coco has been OK with older kids but needs a home with no young children or small dogs
