Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Dachshund-Basset mix and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Thelma quickly bonds with her humans & insists on daily cuddles & pets. Like her sister Louise, Thelma is approximately 12 years old, around 19lbs & a sweet princess. She is working on getting her girlish figure back. She is a dachshund/terrier mix that gets along well with other dogs & is curious about cats. She walks on a leash with the occasional reminder to enjoy the scenery along the way & not rush to the finish line. If you are looking for a furry shadow, Thelma is your gal. Irma is a very cute, lowrider girly that is guessed to be a Dachshund mix.  She is hoping to find her forever family after being rescued from a hoarding situation.    She is estimated to be 3 years old and weighs about 15lbs.  More information to come soon! We recommend obedience training for all pups and dogs!        **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Daisy and Donut are 2 yrs old. The perfect age as they are all grown out of the puppy stages. They are both housebroken and just the sweetest lovable dogs. They are current on all vaccinations and preventatives and have been spayed and neutered. Daisy is a little more high energy but not excessive. She is wonderful especially if she has a chewy bone or toy. Not destructive, she just likes something to chew on. Donut is lower energy but still loves to chase a ball and play with his sibling. They both know sit and will shake when asked as well. Leash and kennel trained and will sleep in their kennel 8-9 hours with no problems. They are great dogs and their family does not want to give them up but they have had a coupled unexpected deaths in the family and unforeseen circumstances that make it unfair for these two as far as time and space. Their current family would love for them to go together and the adoption fees can be adjusted accordingly if we can find a spot together for them both. We will consider single applications if we can’t find a home together. Once adopted Daisy and Donut will will travel via private transport (transport cost is $165.00) to a location closest to you.
