He gets along beautifully with other dogs and would do best in a peaceful environment, adults only, where he can come out of his shell at his own pace. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who just needs a little patience and a lot of love, Lil Man might be your perfect match. Give this sweet boy the quiet life he’s been waiting for. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This girl was brought in with babies when her owner couldn't take care of her. She was not socialized very well so will need some work. She will need a very patient person to get her to come out of her shell. She was kept outside so she has no house manners, nor has she been with cats. She does do well with dogs her size and seems to like to play with them. She deserves a new chance to be a loved dog and companion. She will take a lot of time and investment but deserves a chance!

This dog's adoption fee is $450. If you are still interested, please read more below. Bill's a jolly and affectionate dog. He's 12" tall at the withers. He's currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will not have any lasting heath effects once his treatment is complete. He appears to be a Chihuahua Dachshund mix. He loves the outside and belly rubs. Bill enjoys horsing around and getting the zoomies but will also nap with you on the couch. He's housebroken and sleeps well in his crate. Bill arrived on November 20th from a shelter in Tennessee. He would do best in a home with older children or adults only. He likes playing with other dogs. His style of play can be a bit much for some dogs – he will benefit from work on boundaries/manners. He has a curious nature and doesn't hesitate to squeeze through narrow gaps or try to climb over -- yard fencing and baby gates should be secure. Bill is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken, and neutered. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.
