Coco is a 6 year old dachshund mix, who we rescued in May 2021. Coco is spayed and up to date on all vaccines and has no known medical conditions. Coco is a very kind and gentle dog, who loves cuddling and spending time outside. Coco is house and crate trained and does well in cars. She enjoys fetch with her toys and being around us and would be a great companion in the perfect home. Coco gets anxious around other dogs, and has shown signs of aggression towards dogs that are her size or smaller, but has been OK with larger adult dogs. She will bark and pull on walks when she sees other dogs, so a fenced in yard is a plus. Coco does not do well with young children, which is why we are rehoming her. We have a 2 year old child, and Coco became very anxious and uncomfortable when she began to walk. We had an incident where Coco knocked our daughter down unprovoked, resulting in her being hurt. Coco has been OK with older kids but needs a home with no young children or small dogs

This dog's adoption fee is $450. If you are still interested, please read more below. Double Stuff Oreo is a black and white, long haired dachshund. She has lived her life as a puppy mill mama. She was double stuffed at 16 pounds but with good food, and a yard to explore and run around in, she is doing good. ARF's vets estimate her to be about 6 years of age. When we first picked her up we were told she might be 8, so we are calling her 7. She has a super sweet, affectionate personality. She is very submissive and loves a good belly rub. Her foster is working on housetraining for the first time in this sweet girl's life. She is doing pretty good as long as her foster mom keeps to the schedule. She is super social with other dogs and ignores the cats in her foster home. She is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations and spayed. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today! We are Flynn and Rider! Like thieves in the night we'll steal your heart. Flynn and Rider are absolutely gorgeous and active puppies looking for forever homes to call their own. Flynn is a bit more reserved than Rider but he still loves to go play. He'll come sit by your feet and take in the world around him or he'll try to scamper up on your lap to show you rocks he's found. He loves being up high to get scratchies and watch his brother. Rider is the adventurer, he enjoys sniffing through the grass and pouncing grasshoppers. He likes to get the big dog toys to drag around the yard and have his brother chase him. Rider sits patiently waiting for his turn to get scratchies on your lap. He's so adorable! He's fearless until big trucks rumble by then you'll find him behind your chair! Don't get Tangled in our cute-pie puppy eyes! Flynn's blazing a new trail in life, had Parvo and they were unsure if he was gonna make it. Now he's recovered and making the most of life! Rider was a good support pup, always peeking in on Flynn while he was sick wondering when he could wrestle again. Otherwise he was bolting around causing a ruckus as puppies do checking out everything and ducking under anything. Gotta put a bell on this boy! These pups have healthy appetites but will stop when full, graze later after activities. Their mom has short legs, longer body, pointy ears, narrow face, and a beautiful redish brindle coat. Might be corgi/dachshund mixes or be energetic little terrier dogs. They have cute little legs and look like they waddle from behind! Both like to play, run, and carry things around. They are really good at hustling from their room to door to go outside with "lets go, let's go, hurry, hurry, all the way to the door." Then once out the door "all the way to the gate... no pee pee in the walk way." Then "hurry hurry all the way back to go potty." They bound around in a scurry watching me for praise at their good efforts! Eager to learn, observant, smart. Will walk on leashes together but criss cross a bit so will need individual leash training. They are a little timid with new things in general so slow introductions would be helpful as they learn. They are young and going through a chewing stage so age appropriate chew toys a plus. Have experience with dogs their size. Very timid with big dogs. No experience with cats or children so please introduce them slowly. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

The owner of Arlo, Lainey and 4 other akc registered doxies was living in a rental home with 4 children and the landlord said the dogs had to go. Her mom took them while she was supposed to find another place to live but that did not happen. Her mom had 3 dogs of her own and was overwhelmed so she asked for help. All the dogs are sweet but we took Arlo and Lainey. These two are quite bonded so we are going to try to place them together. They are both spay/neutered, UTD on vaccines and HW negative, They will also be microchipped. In their original home, they were left on a self feeder and I am afraid Arlo overindulged. He needs a home where they will go for walks and watch their diets. but he is so so sweet and cute! Loves cuddles and kisses! They both seem to be reliably housetrained. Arlo is a red pie bald and Lainey is a black and tan wirehaired doxie. Arlo was born on 8/13/2020 so he is 4 years old, Lainey is 3.
