Born: December 26, 2022 I am 26lbs and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $400 Meet Sahiri – Your Sweet and Shy Best Friend in the Making! Sahiri is a beautiful Dachshund-Beagle mix with a heart full of love—she’s just waiting for the right person to help her shine. This gentle girl is super sweet but very shy, so she’ll need a patient and loving home where she can build confidence at her own pace. Sahiri adores other dogs and finds comfort in their company, so a home with a canine companion would be ideal. She also does well with kids who understand the importance of going slow and being kind. With time, love, and understanding, Sahiri will blossom into the most loyal friend you’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to welcome into your heart, Sahiri is ready to meet you. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
