Story
Hundley is 9 years old and has lived with us since he was 10 months old. He is a very sweet dog and loves to play with a tennis ball. Hundley has a lot of anxiety and it has gotten worse as he has gotten older. I work 7 days a week and many of the days are long hours, so I don’t have the time to dedicate to fix his behaviors. He gets along with kids and other animals most of the time, but if he feels threatened, he is hard to redirect. He has gotten into fights with my other dog because of this and has gotten lucky that he has only had a few minor injuries. Hundley needs to be with someone that has the time and patience that he needs.

Story
I adopted Oliver from a family friend when he was 6 weeks old. He is about to turn 8 years old in January. His mother is a standard dachshund, and he is mixed with chihuahua and maltese. He's a medium sized dog despite his mix. Oliver is extremely friendly and loving but a needy boy and often demands attention and food. I have to keep him on low-calorie dog food due to being so food motivated and being prone to obesity. He loves to be with you and snuggle and is used to the companionship of 2 other dogs, but he does perfectly fine alone as well. He could thrive in a lot of different environments. For an older boy, he has a TON of energy for playing, walks, or for going to the park but won't overwhelm you when you're just chilling inside your house. He has been a joy to my life since I've had him. I am working on getting him an anesthetic dental cleaning (his teeth are admittedly not in good shape currently) and his updated rabies vaccination that's due in December.

Story
Noah is the sweetest and happiest little guy. He has been through so much - abandoned, hit and left to suffer and die on the side of the road, FHO (femoral head ostectomy) and surgery to repair his femur so he could walk again, therapy -- just so much for this little dude, and through it all, he has never been anything but sweet and loving. We have been hoping for a foster home where he will be able to continue his recovery and we are so thankful that a wonderful and compassionate foster has asked to take him and will provide sweet little Noah with the comfortable home environment he needs to complete his healing process - and of course, get lots of love. Noah is currently in a foster home in Orlando, Florida. For more information or to complete an adoption application go to adoptions@redlandrockpit.org.

Story
Pina is a 1 year old female. She weighs 13 pounds. Pina is good with other dogs. She came from a hoarder house and is a weirdo. She’s not at all aggressive, but the inbreeding that happened in that house was hard on her. She likes to be pet, but gets scared of hands sometimes. Her eyes are structurally not correct and she’s been like that since birth. She can see, but mostly shadows and light and dark. She is crate trained and likes to know how things go, a strict schedule isn’t necessary, but her place to eat and sleep should be consistent. Sometimes she runs in circles, but she isn’t bothered by it She will need a patient family, but she is well worth it!
