Rescued from the forest area, this little girl is lucky to be alive! She is timid and sweet. The good Samaritans that found her had to trap her because she was so afraid. She is doing well with love and kindness and we are working on finding her a forever family. She is young.  With adult teeth but possibly still under a year.  Bailey will need a fenced in property as she is a flight risk.  She is shy at first and scared to trust.  Once you earn her trust she is a silly girl.  She ADORES cats and loves to play with both dogs and cats.  She is a happy little girl but it is evident that she has not lived a happy life before coming to us.  Every new noise, anything new that you introduce her to scares her.  She will need an understanding home. ##2345741##

Scooby is a 5 year old Dachshund Bully mix weighing approximately 35 pounds. He was surrendered when his owner lost her job and was forced to move in with relatives. You can see the sadness in his eyes ☹. He is very timid and laid back, complacent and mellow. Needless to say, he is very depressed and won’t even eat (not even treats). His adoption donation is $250 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip. He is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Louie is a 3 year old, 14 pound Dachshund mix that was in a hoarding situation with 30 other dogs. A rescue came and took 15 dogs, leaving the others there, so animal came and confiscated the others. It has taken Louie a while to feel safe and comfortable and now he will not leave his foster mom's side. He would be happiest to be in his foster mom's lap 24/7. He has gotten along wonderfully with all of the dogs, the litter of pups, and the chickens in his foster home. Louie has been neutered, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and is heartworm negative. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kirby was adopted as a pup and was returned to us, his adopter ran into some medical issues and was no longer able to care for Kirby.Kirby is a very good boy, he is shy at first with strangers btut them when he does warm up he acts like he has known ya forever, he was an only dog at his previous home, he is very much a companion dog who loves to go for walks and travels fine in the car. He does get along with other dogs  as he has always done, but at 10 he has grown use to the way life once was. Please note he does have envioronmental allergies and requires monthly  injections to  be comfortable.We would like to  find him a home where someone is looking to have a faithful companion and be willing to take him for walks and play with him. He still has lots of enegy left and loves to run.If you would like to be considered as a new home for him send us a message.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 18, 2025, 2:16 am

Pollo would thrive in a home without other dogs where he can soak up all the love and attention. If you're looking for a relaxed, quirky, and independent pup to brighten your days, Pollo Frito is your guy! Pollo Frito had complications following heartworm treatment. Caval syndrome was suspected and there may be residual cardiac damage. He is currently on two types of medications called Sildenafil and Vetmedin. While he is at the HSNCF, his medication and his continued care are supported by a generous anonymous donor through our Path to Adoption Fund.
