Story
Rae is a shy but sweet girl, who loves nothing more than to play and be with you once she settles in! She is a bit shy at first and will need a bit of time to warm up to new people in a new home, but is full of cuddles, play and love once she gets to know you!!! She does great with other dogs in her foster home, is non reactive around cats, and is doing great with crate training. Since she is just a youngster still, she will need a family with lots of patience and willingness to work with puppy training to help him gain some confidence and skills needed to become the best canine citizen she can be!

Story
My name is Slinky, yes like Toy Story! I am a handsome boy who was owner surrendered because I want to play. I am a happy go lucky boy who loves EVERYONE. I am a puppy, but I am house broken and extremely intelligent. I learn fast!! I would love a home where I can be with my people all the time. In fact, if you don't have other dogs, I'm okay with that! I just love humans. Are you my human? ##2303915##

Story
ADOPTION FEE: $525 Meet Emberly! This poor baby girl arrived to our partner shelter covered in scabs and arrived to Colorado in rough condition. It is believed that she has gotten her injuries by a chemical burn. We are unsure how this could have happened to this sweet girl. Emberly is looking for her forever home to provide her with the care and love she needs and deserves. Previous Shelter Notes: Meet - https://youtube.com/shorts/kusSYShRfK0 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
***If you're interested in adopting Scarlet, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. *** Meet Katie! This adorable 2-year-old pup is looking for a forever home full of love and snuggles. Katie, a longhaired Dachshund / Cocker Spaniel mix, weighs just 17 lbs—perfectly sized for a lap, which is one of her favorite places to be! Katie's journey hasn’t been easy, but her resilience and gentle spirit shine through. Katie came from a dog hoarding case, where they rescued more than 15 dogs from one home. She will thrive in a calm, quiet home and typically just needs about a day or two to warm up and show her sweet, affectionate personality. While we don’t know if Katie has had any formal training, she’s at a great age to learn! Positive reinforcement training helps build trust, confidence, and lifelong good behavior. Farfel’s requires adopters to commit to a training program—whether virtual or in-person—to ensure a successful transition for Katie and her new family. We provide every adopter with recommendations for highly regarded, force-free trainers in your area. Katie is fully vetted, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and spayed. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial. Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year. **PLEASE NOTE**. If you're truly interested in adopting Alfie please be sure to submit the Farfel's Rescue adoption application that can be found at the link above or at farfels.com. Rescue site applications such as Petfinder or Adoptapet don't provide enough information for us to determine a great match for this very deserving dog and therefore aren't useful. We're sorry, but in many circumstances, we're unable to get back to those those that don't submit a Farfel's adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue!

Story
** If you are interested in adopting Roxie, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ** Roxie’s world has been turned upside down, but you’d never know it from her happy-go-lucky spirit! Despite all the recent changes in her life, this sweet girl still wags her tail, burrows under the covers, and greets each day with hope and love. Roxie is believed to be a Dachshund / Beagle mix. At 4 years old and 14 lbs, she’s the perfect size to snuggle up with on the couch and join you for leisurely walks around the neighborhood. Roxie’s journey hasn’t been easy—after being adopted three years ago, she sadly lost her owner last October. Though her owner’s daughter took her in, she was unable to keep Roxie due to housing restrictions. Now in a loving foster home, Roxie is adjusting to all the recent changes and learning that she’s safe once again. She’s a sweetheart who’s used to being the center of someone’s world, and she’s eager to find that special person again. Roxie enjoys the company of other dogs and is starting to play with her foster’s two male pups. Roxie is potty trained, as well. She’s got a great mix of cozy and playful energy—sometimes she’s content to lounge, and other times she’ll have little bursts of playing. She walks well on a leash and will thrive with a loving family who understands her need for stability and affection. With a heart full of love and a nose for adventure, Roxie is ready to start the next chapter of her life with a forever family who will cherish her as much as she deserves! Roxie is up to date on her vaccinations and is spayed. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
