Story
Meet our sweet senior Mia! She would love to be in your lap all day long. She's the best company - she does not have a care in the world other than to make you smile and be in a quiet home. She is both cat and dog neutral. Mia has a heart murmur that she was put on medication for, however it was making her really lethargic. Our vets said she may have a better quality of life off of them, and since being taken off of her medication, the sparkle in her eye has came back! Mia also required extensive dental work where she does not have any teeth. She is estimated to be around 11-12 years old, weighing about 12lbs. She is not spayed as surgery for this would be too risky. Her perfect home would be with someone who is looking for quiet companionship and can exchange company with one another throughout the day. Mia is currently in a foster home in Fresno, California. Mia is part of our Forever Family program, meaning that Thrive will cover all age-related medical expenses upon adoption to keep her comfortable and thriving. ##2242682##

Meet Lolo! He brings the more to Labs and More as a Dachshund and Chihuahua mix. Lolo loves a soft spot on the couch or bed to snooze. He is good with other dogs but prefers the company of people. He loves to snuggle. He would do best with a family home more often than not as he likes to stay close. Lolo knows his commands, is housetrained and walks well on leash. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Lolo, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Please email us at I doginfo@labsandmore.org if you need assistance. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! Story
Come and meet me at our adoption event this Saturday 04/09 from 4 pm to 6 pm at PetSmart in Clairemont, San Diego: 4253 Genesee Ave, San Diego, CA 92117 ***Please read all the way down to the bottom so you can learn all about our sweet pet and about the requirements as well as the organization*** Hi !! meet Chico, a 6 month old sweet puppy who will remain small under 20 lbs. He is currently about 17 pounds, and have reached his 80% growth:) He has a cute combination of Dachshund, Corgi, Labrador, Chihuahua:) He has a cute long body shape with short strong legs:) and such cute huge ears:) "Chico" is a sweet soul. He will happily give kisses and loves to play tug of war. He has a good energy level for running around inside or outside if playing with kids; but will also lay down with you for a calm nap. He’s very polite when meeting new people. He’s house trained and learned the best place to go potty very quickly. He picks up commands easily especially when there’s a treat involved. Overall, he is a cuddly dog who would make any family very happy. He has been around kids, dogs, and cats. However, he is to be introduced slowly to some dogs - once he is getting to know the other dogs, he will be fine- with some dogs, he can connect right away. If you are ready for this commitment and open your heart to any of our adorable pups, please don't wait no longer. Please text at 619-576-0747 as 1st choice of contact or email veronica.aaofusa@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- Please do not leave voice messages - If approved, the adoption coordinator will reach out to you to schedule a Meet-and-Greet appointment. No appointments will be made unless we have received an application; therefore, we can match you with the best fit for you. Follow us on Instagram @aaofus where you can see more pics. Please allow 48 hours to process applications and respond back to set up appointments. Unfortunately, responses back to those who do not qualify are not possible due to high volume of applications. Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date their 3 core puppy DHLPP vaccinations, spaying or neutering, deworming, flea medication, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! *****A minute of conscious - Please read:) ***** We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Please take a minute to tell yourself if you are ready to adopt and for this commitment. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!
