She gave birth to puppies in the shelter, but only two survived. Her babies are now 5 months old and happy and healthy (available for adoption too), so now it’s time to find mama the home she deserves. Santana is the sweetest little girl. She is small, just over 10 pounds, but still loves her long walks. We don't know her mix, but our best guess would be some kind of Dachshund mix... She is super cuddly once comfortable, but does take a little while to warm up. She loves other dogs and has lived with cats and done well, too. She is learning how much fun toys and bones are and is coming out of her shell more and more everyday. She will thrive with a patient person looking for an affectionate little lap dog who still loves being active and doing things.
