Story
Katie is a low-rider with a larger-than-life personality! This adorable, long-haired Dachshund mix was rescued from the euthanasia list at Rancho Cucamongo with a broken hip and 2 fractured legs, likely from being hit by a car. Fully recovered now, Katie's a happy-go-lucky girl who’s always on the move and ready for fun. She is packed with spunk, charm, and just the right amount of sass. Katie is great with kids and other dogs, and she absolutely lives for playtime. Her favorite game? Tug-of-war! She’ll race you to the toy bin, pick out her prize, and show off her skills with pride. She’s also a bit of a goofball who loves being the boss (in the cutest way possible), and she’ll keep you smiling with her hilarious antics and energetic spirit. If you’re looking for a sweet, funny, and endlessly entertaining companion, Katie is your girl. She’s spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated and house trained (but will need some help in a new environment). Katie is currently being fostered in San Bernadino County, CA and must be picked up from there. For adoption information, please contact AlphaDogPetRescue@yahoo.com.

Story
This sweet girl is ready for her second chance! Named after the viral toy, Labubu is one-of-a-kind, irresistible, and deserves to find a family who will deeply adore and treasure her. Labubu came to Shelter Hope after her previous owners, who had surrendered several litters before, had yet another unwanted litter. All five puppies had been living outside, sharing the yard with pigs and covered in dirt. Shelter Hope took them in and immediately brought them into the safety of a loving foster home. Despite everything she has been through, nothing could dim Labubu’s spirit—she arrived bright, wiggly, and eager to make friends with everyone she met. This 3-month-old, 4 lb dachshund mix has such an adorable personality. Curious, playful, and incredibly sweet, she loves toys, adores kids, and gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats. Whether she’s chasing a squeaky toy or curling up in your lap for cuddles, Labubu is social, friendly, and full of that fun puppy sparkle. Labubu is vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find her forever home! More from her foster: Labubu is a bit shy at first but once you get down on her level & let her know you are a friend, she will quickly become your best friend & shadow. She loves to play with toys & her brothers. One of her best friends in our house was our 6 mo old kitten, Monkey. Those 2 would play for 30 minutes straight & you better not interrupt them or she will be very upset with you that you interrupted their play sesh. Lol ------- Looking to Adopt? Submit a Rescue Questionnaire! Please be thorough in your answers. Step 1) Application Step 2) Phone Interview Step 3) Appointment Shelter Hope is operating by appointment only. Be ready to adopt: If selected, our rescue counselor will contact you to schedule a phone interview. Please monitor your email and spam folder for our message. Adoptions can happen quickly so be prepared for our call, only apply for dogs that every family member in the home wants, and wait to apply until you return from your vacation. More on our process: Due to high demand, especially for popular dogs, not all applicants will be contacted. Moreover, we may not reach out if we have already approved a family to adopt. The process can take several days. Thank you for your patience!

Story
Meet Honey – A Sweetheart Looking for Her Forever Home! Honey is a beautiful 2-year-old, 35-pound pocket pittie with a heart full of love. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. This special girl walks well on a leash and has a moderate energy level—she enjoys her daily strolls and exploring the yard. Honey had an injury as a puppy that gives her a unique gait, and she also experiences some incontinence. However, she’s making great progress with potty training and will go outside when taken out frequently. Honey would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely explore. She would do best as an only pet or with a calm dog of similar size. No cats or small dogs, please. Due to her needs, a home with children aged 12 and up is preferred. Honey is ready to find a patient, loving family who will cherish her for the special dog she is. Could that be you? Fill out an application today and meet this sweet girl!
