Tron is a 7 year old male (neutered) pitbull/dachshund mix black/white. Tron is good with kids, dogs and cats. Tron is a friendly and playful dog he enjoys a good back scratch and sitting in the pool and occasionally taking a swim on the hot days. He is active when he wants to play if not he is ok with just lounging around. He enjoys going for walks and exploring new sceneries. He will go for hikes, but tends to get tired after a few miles due to his shorter legs. He enjoys hard to chew toys since the softer ones he will take apart easily. Tron is also kennel trained and is very alert when someone walks to the front door.Tron is looking for an amazing forever home! We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day. If we all agree on the placement, then the dog will stay with you that day.  Please visit our website at www.dachshundpaws.org    July 2, 2024, 10:57 pm

Story
The application is the first step in the adoption process, so if you are interested in adopting please fill out the online adoption application  first by visiting our website at www.dachshundpaws.org    Brandy is a 5 year old, smooth red, mini Dachshund. She’s a small girl weighing 10 pounds. Brandy is very shy and timid in new situations. She needs a patient family that will show her there is nothing to be scared of. She is fine with other dogs, sorry no cats or kids. Brandy is still learning the ropes of her foster home, but she is adjusting well. Brandy is crate trained and she has learned the doggie door. Brandy is very treat motivated, so that has helped her with training. She has also decided she loves the hand that holds the treats, so that’s help with her fear of new people. Brandy is ready to start her new life as a cherished family member.  Brandy‘s adoption fee: $450 We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit.
