Ben and Jerry were found wandering the streets in Midway City by a kind gentleman who corralled them and brought them to AALOC. They are brothers and are completely bonded so they cannot be separated. If you are looking for a pair of dogs as an addition to your family, Ben and Jerry would be just the right double scoop of love. Ben and Jerry are very young Dachshund mix dogs, full of life and affection. They are small in size, about 15 pounds each, and they love to walk and play together. They are housebroken and play well with other dogs. Overall they are very well-behaved young dogs available for adoption by a loving family. Please submit an application to adopt Ben and Jerry at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Ben and Jerry and get to know them a bit. Donation of $165 per dog adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit (in Orange County, CA). Delicious and his siblings were born on April 30th, 2024. Their mom Candy Crush is a Dachshund mix and was very pregnant at a high kill shelter. We rescued momma just in time as she gave birth the next day. The puppies have been raised with our rescue and are happy, healthy, playful and social little puppies. These sweet pups are looking for their forever homes. As always, we do highly recommend positive reinforcement training to insure a well behaved and well-rounded puppy/dog. The adoption fee is $650 which includes: spay/neuter, microchipping with registration, up to date on vaccines, rabies vaccine (for dogs and pups over 4 months at time of alter), deworming, and topical flea treatment application (as needed). Our animals can be seen by appointment only after approved application process. Shabu is a 1 year and 6 months old male dog weighing about 50 pounds. He is a purebred basset hound. He is friendly with people and dogs in general. He is cheerful, kind and shows good love. He never barks when he meets people or other dogs. He loves to play with toys. He wants to be close to his owner and needs friends. Because Shabu is a lonely dog with low energy, walking once or twice a day is enough. Shabu has only one problem. When we take him for a walk outside, he doesn't poop. He will come back to poop on the balcony instead. I live in an apartment. It is difficult to manage. Due to my busy life and lack of time. I need someone who is ready and has enough time for Shabu. Is he ready to give Shabu love? I hope Shabu will find a new home soon. Adoption fee $1,200 Thank you.
