Nikki loves to sun bathe and enjoys running around the yard with his foster friends. He will be a great companion dog and a good friend for another dog in his new home. Kipper is an absolute sweetheart! With his charming mix of Dachshund and Jack Russell terrier traits, plus his stunning eyes, (one blue and one brown) it’s hard not to fall for him. It’s wonderful that he’s playful and enjoys treats, especially carrots—those are great ways to bond and train him. It’s great to hear he’s already leash trained and just needs a bit more of a routine for house training. He does use a doggie door. Since he has a special bond with his sister Kayla, it would be worth considering a home that can accommodate both, especially since they enjoy each other's company. Kipper seems like he’d bring so much joy and love to a household that can provide him with affection, structure, and playtime. If anyone is looking for a loving companion who is ready to learn and play that is Kipper. He is playful with other dogs but he loves to be in charge! Though he is great with his sister. Kipper is neutered , microchipped and currently vaccinated. Kipper and Kayla seem like the perfect fit! Here's hoping they find a forever home soon. Story
This sweet, short-legged pup is named Kristy. She currently weighs 25 pounds and is estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old based on the condition of her teeth. We can't be sure of much information about her since she was a stray and we were not able to find who owned her last. She definitely has some Dachshund in her but who knows what breed gave her those striking eyes! She is very cuddly with the staff and it's clear she wants to be around and be loved by people. We have vaccinated, spayed, and chipped her. $300.00 adoption fee. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Tina is a sweet, gentle, and playful dog around 2 years old and weighing 11 pounds. She is a very shy, unique looking Dachshund, Pug, and Chihuahua mix who is in need of a forever home where she can feel safe and loved once again. Tina has had it rough, as it looks like she has suffered some abuse and was left outside Front Street Shelter parking lot when they were closed. She spent over a month in the shelter before being taken into Little Paws, but because of her experience she has been very wary of people. With patience and kindness however, she has begun to trust again and it has been wonderful to see her grow in confidence. Tina is a loyal and loving dog who just needs someone to give her a chance. She is active and would be a great companion for someone who can give her the attention and care she needs, helping her to trust again and providing her with a safe environment to thrive. She would benefit from a patient owner who can help build up her confidence and she will be the most loving, sweet and loyal dog in return. Despite her shyness, Tina has a wonderful playful side and loves to steal socks and shoes, (though she doesn't eat them)! She also loves toys and she hasn't met a toy she doesn't love! She has the adorable, cute floppy ears, along with the long body and the tail of a dachshund with a curl in it, the head of a Chihuahua and the crunched face and wrinkles of a pug! Tina loves using the doggy door and is great with steps or ramps. She would benefit from dog training and obstacle course training as this would really help to boost her self-esteem. We can see her being great at agility in the future! She is housebroken, pee pad trained, crate trained, microchipped, vaccinated and spayed. She is good with other dogs but we are not sure about cats. Her adoption fee is $700. If you think you could be Tina's special person to give her the home she deserves, or you have any questions, please go to littlepawsdoggierescue.org and fill out an adoption questionnaire. Thank you.
