No out of state adoption will be acceptable , Northern California will not be considered either. He coming from a shelter Up North - we are trying to secure foster homes or adoption homes before they get here. He is very sweet under 15 pounds , 2 years old - fully vaccinated and neutered Currently living with dogs in the kennel environment - he is healthy I would say older kids maybe best - As he does like to jump on people he okay with cats to what we know so far We dont have a date yet when they are suppose to arrive but we are currently working the details as we speak to find out when they will arrive. We found this sweet little guy a month ago. He was starving and covered in fleas. The vet said he's not microchipped and is about 5 years old. He’s a daschund mix about 8.5 pounds. He’s the sweetest and loves to cuddle. He gets very attached and knows he’s been rescued. We’ve been fostering him and working with him to heal and he’s now about 90% potty trained and has a routine. We also crate trained him in the night and he enjoys going in. He is not neutered. We named him George and he responds to his name now. He loves his walks too (he had not been walked before and had to learn what to do on a walk by observing our dog). While we’d love to keep George, he and our cat have butted heads a few times and unfortunately there is a lot of added stress as our other dog is also a rescue and very needy. He would do amazing with someone who is home often and he can cuddle and sit on their lap. We would not recommend a home with cats or small children. He does well with other dogs.

Rosy is a sweet girl who has been thru a lot in her life. People have let her down over and over so this time we will make sure her new family knows all about her, has experience with dogs and will love her forever and ever. Rosy would do best as an only dog or with a large very calm dog. Rosy may be older but she's still active, she loves to run around and play. She is not suitable for a senior because she runs around and is strong. She does prefer women over men but with a little patience she will adapt. Rosy is a great walking companion and loves playing fetch so a yard is a must. Welcome 6 year old, 21 lb, adorable Dachshund/Chihuahua mix, Buttercup. Buttercup was rescued from a shelter as a puppy with her mom and siblings, including Lilly. Lilly and Buttercup were adopted to a home together. Due to a change in the owner's situation, they were recently returned to rescue.
