Story
If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.   Hobbs, a delightful blend of Chihuahua and Dachshund, is approximately six years old. This endearing canine is a true sweetheart who adores the company of his human companion and craves snuggles. He has a strong preference for sleeping in the bed right beside you, seeking comfort and closeness. While Hobbs tolerates the presence of other dogs, he much rather prefers the sole attention of his person. Therefore, it is advised that he be placed in a home where he can enjoy his own space without the company of small children. As for his compatibility with cats and livestock, this information is currently unknown. Hobbs was discovered as a stray and brought to the shelter, showcasing a good-natured and easy-going disposition. He would be best suited for a calm and relaxed household that matches his laid-back personality.  He's had $100 sponsorship since he's a senior ish dog.  This makes us adoption fee $250 Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $250  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##2098928##

Story
If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.   Introducing JAMES, a wonderfully sweet and loyal companion eager to find his forever home. While he can coexist with other dogs, JAMES thrives best as a solo pet. At just 10 months old, he exhibits the behavior of a more mature dog, resembling that of a two or three-year-old. We believe he is a mix between a Dachshund and a Miniature Australian Shepherd, although his exact lineage remains a mystery, as he was rescued from a shelter as a stray. JAMES is well-trained in both harness and crate use. However, he tends to react by barking when encountering new dogs. Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $350.00  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##2177070##

Story
If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.   Absolute Violet is a delightful combination of a Basset Hound and Rat Terrier. This charming canine possesses a pleasant temperament, although she may display a slight tendency to bark when introduced to other dogs initially. However, once acquainted, she engages in play gently. Recently, she encountered a minor mishap when attempting to feast on some wasps, resulting in a couple of stings. Rest assured, she has fully recovered and is now prepared to find her forever home. At approximately 6-7 months old, Absolute Violet weighs a dainty 18 to 20 pounds for basset hound blend.  Absolute was spooked by a child and currently is not good with kids. Unknown on cats and livestock. ##2098925##
