Story
Chapo was rescued from the e-list @ Maricopa Animal Control. His brother was adopted & he became fearful. We rescued him 9-6-2024. Slow intro over 10 days with our Cattle dog. Had a couple fights, but now mostly play & wrestle for fun. Chapo is 2-3 yrs old, had ear infections fully treated with surgery & medication packed. Eardrums intact. Some guarding of food, so we feed them 12 feet apart, morning & dinner time. He is CUTE, loves women more, but warms up to those in the house. He loves attention, petting, being held on your lap. My husband can’t handle a high pitch bark from his medical condition. The dog barks only when excited to go for his daily walk w/ the other dog, but it still hurts my husband’s ears. Dog is doing well, just can’t help my husband’s ears.

Meet Ritchie, an adorable three-year-old Dachshund mix who weighs in at a perfect 14 pounds. This friendly little guy has a big personality, and he shows it by jumping up and dancing on his hind legs whenever he sees people! Ritchie isn’t too interested in toys—his favorite thing is just being with his human friends. He’s got a gentle side too, taking treats softly and enjoying cuddles, especially thanks to his silky-soft fur. Ritchie is comfortable being picked up but is a little sensitive to motions over his head. He has some scarring on one eye, but it doesn’t stop him from seeing and living life to the fullest. With an adoption fee of $225, Ritchie comes fully prepared to join his new family. The fee includes his spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness check at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. If you’re ready for a sweet, loyal companion, don’t hesitate to meet Ritchie! AJ came from a hoarding situation and his owner was planning on taking him and his siblings to the humane society. Since they are so full and putting down so many dogs we agreed to take them in and find them homes. He knows how to use the doggie door, and is only partially housetrained. He has been neutered but only has his rabies vaccine. He loves to play with toys and other dogs. He's been good with the kids that have been in and out of our home. He likes to snuggle, and loves squirts of whipped cream. Would love to have him go to someone that can spend time with him. He is a lover.

Bear is a sweet girl, called Bear because she was the biggest one at birth, but now they are all pretty much the same size lol. She loves toys and playing with the other dogs. She is a bit timid, when 2 of the boys came home with cones because of getting neutered she was terrified of them for the first few hours. After some comforting and sitting on my lap for awhile she calmed down. But she was very afraid. She also was afraid of a large cat that a friend owns, cried and ran away and hid. She knows how to use the doggie door but is only partially housetrained. She loves to snuggle and loves squirts of whipped cream. Shes been good with all the kids that have been in and out of our home.
