Story
Perdita's name means "lost", a baby found abandoned in the wilderness in Shakespeare's "A Winter's Tale". A worker heard two week old Perdita crying loudly underneath a building at a construction site, and brought her to us. Perdita has a healthy set of lungs, and saved herself, which we think is incredibly brave. She is a manx or bobtail, with the cutest little stump of a tail. At two weeks, she needed to be bottle-fed, and she always took one long, powerful suck from the bottle, and then it was time to roll over and play. Perdita is very curious (dare I say, nosy), and from a very young age, she pops her head up and looks around at everything in wonder. She's an excellent climber, loves to tussle with her tiny murder mittens, and also enjoys giving kisses.

She is the complete package! She is bonded with her adopted sissie, Portia, and will only be adopted in a pair with her. Given her personality, we believe she would do well with other cats, children, and cat-friendly dogs if allowed time for an introduction.
Her adoption fee includes her spay surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, and group testing for FIV and FeLV.
If you are interested in adopting, please go to our adoption page for more information on our adoption process and to complete our adoption application.

Please note: This kitten will only be adopted in a pair with Portia. This policy ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
